yeah, damn... long hot summer over here. I actually had sweat dripping during the race.
Well, the most boring track on the calendar turned out to provide some really close racing.
Nice fight on the final laps Killa!
I will do my racereport tomorrow.. I need a shower and a beer.

Good lesson for me!
Never intend to race 100% without a minimum training :P

Lot of small error before finding my pace. after I ve tried to go faster but I ve broke my suspension.
I deserve what I got.(didnt like that track anyway)

now I am waiting for magny-cour where, even if the race had big lag pb last year, I had great fight with Mark :D

i had to reset my pc and all my setups were cancelled...

in the race for me it was like running in the ice...my car was total oversteering...and my brakes seems to block in the rear in turn 9 every lap...when i had my 10th spin in that corner, i decided to quit the race

So that was why the positions jumped back and forth so much.......I thought it was very strange at times......and at the end when it said that Patrick was behind me I got really confused knowing that he lapped me 15 laps earlier, heheh..... :? :D

Anyway.....it was a fun race with lots of action. I had less top speed than most others making it VERY hard to pass drivers. But since I was fast on the infield I could put pressure on people there and hope for mistakes. A lot of close racing and some "love bumps" both given and recieved, hehe

Towards the end I was hunting down p2m Noob and caught up with him and we had a great fight for the last 8-10 laps. I managed to pass on the very LAST lap in T1.....!!! Awesome!

Too bad u ran out of fuel on at the end of the lap p2mNoob, I had a bad exit from the last corner and u might have caught me on the straight if you only had put in ONE more litre of fuel......I had luck on my side this time.

Have a nice summer everyone!!! 8)

The same goes for me leDoug. i am verry sorry i slammed into you in the middle of lap 1. One week to practize and a real f1 race just before we race is far from ideal, i really need more warmup to preform save racing.

Well this turned out to be a much better race than I excpected.
I didn't know the track layout before coming here and I didn't practice enough (like most ppl here I didn't enjoy the track).
But the qualifying went reasonable and my race pace was off the scale (only two three tenths off my PB!). By far the best of the season.
Maybe not knowing the track as well as usual just kept my concentration up.
Anyways at one point I found myself in an honest 3rd position but then I made my only serious mistake of the race. I missed my braking point after the backstraight and spun it.
Sebastian passed me and Killa started gaining time. During the final laps Killa was really chewing away the gap and I was staring to feel the pressure losing tenths here and there. Finally Killa made his pass in T1 on the final lap. I tried to stay in contact since I was faster down the start finish straight and may have had a chance. I was reasonably close out of the last corner on to the brickyard when the engine started cutting.... I had run out of fuel... dodged over the grass into pitlane but didn't reach my slot. Finally finished 7th (could have been a lot worse).
Well I put fuel for 3x 25++(just before it turns 26) laps of fuel so I though it would be enough. (Especially since I had veeery little downforce drag resistance). But I deserve it. You should always do a stint to at least check the fuel if nothing else... Still I had fun, I really did!

Have a nice summer gang!!! See you at Magny Cource :)

Btw: Concerning Patricks problem. I was getting some strange timimg telemetry sometimes aswell so I think there was something wrong with the track. Maybe positioning of Pitlane/Boxes relative the Start/Finish line.

i want to mention something for the guys who cheak the races in lap 19 i get pushed bij ferry koek ! in turn 1 ( he turns in while he knows iam there and he made me spin). and in turn 7 he went over the line everytime whit 4 wheels gaining time. ( i saw this because he was in front me lot of the time.

ofcource its a race but this push could bee avoided easey if he did not accelerate in me

but he does it really nice it almost looks like an exident but he drives into me by throttle where there is no space.

and could someone post the championship standing how many points everyone has !?

For the uncount lap of Patrick, we will be able to compare what hapend, since it also hapend 1 time to Steve in NA, he lost 1 lap in pit. Good that only those 2 had the problem, anyway, we will watch replay, adjust it and post back good result.

As by the rules, please send your complaints in private to one of the supervisors (Klaaz, Drago, Killa, Flow or Me). Don't worry about sending those to the wrong supervisor, we share pretty much everything among ourselves and have lots of discussions in the background which you can't see. Thanks for your cooperation.
