What a race!

First off, qualifying. I thought I would be able to make it on to 2nd row of the grid looking at the times but made a mistake in the chicane before the hairpin....so...started 9th.

The race:
The first lap was hectic to say the least. Was following Patrick and someone else up to the chicane leading down to the hairpin when Patrick had to brake early for some reason so I had to let my car go on the grass and into the sand.....leaving me on 14th position. From here there is a constant struggle to gain positions. The track is very narrow and hard to pass on and if the driver in front got low wings its very hard to pass on the long straight aswell.

I had a blast through the whole race. Had a long going fight with Dennis who just wouldnt give up! Heheh....well fought Dennis, great fun. Same with Jeff, that was good fun too. Drago....i TOLD you I didnt want to end up behind you, still i did and it took me a couple of laps to get passed.
I was in some more action making my way up the field, it was fun to overtake on track for once and not only in pit stops....

At the last 15 laps I was trying to catch up with Sebastian who was in 2nd, I got up to the point where I was only 2 seconds behind him when he caught up with Patrick who was leading but aparently had bad brakes. So Sebastian passes him and I get stuck behind Patrick................oh......did I mention that Pat and Seb is in the same team...........

When I finally got passed Patrick Seb was already 7 seconds ahead with only a few laps to go.....but 2nd place is a great result and I had a great race with lots and lots and lots of action on track.

Thx for the race guys.

let me tell you a secret ! hey might be my teamm8 but he didn't let me pass! even for me it was hard to pass him, but i could outbrake him. but he came by whit his crazy top speed @ the straith. i took the kerbs cause i was afraid he would ram me :) (whit his failing brakes) so i took the kerbs.

so here about the first 10 laps of the race, at the start and the first few corners i managed to eht to p3 from my starting p4 after driving 10 laps behing nr 2 whit a 0.5-2 sec gap nr1 made an mistake in lap 9 so 1 and 2 are together and they go into eachother which makes on of them slowdown really hard. and i braked really hard but i still crached in one of those and lost my front wing and my car was a bit wierd after that i had to correct all time to go in a straith line, than i pitted and got my car fixed and put a lot o feul in and maganged to win the race by some luck of patric brake problems :)

my race was a little short...i seen noob in the middle of the track, i tried to pass him on the left side of the track, but he used the rear shift to go out of the track, and i hitted him damaging the suspension...

Man I feel so bad about that. I got stranded there in an incident mate and I heard you coming but I couldn't see anything so I thought I'd better move off the raceline. In retrospect I should have stayed put hoping you had seen where on the track I was.... I am really sorry for ruining your race like that!

Patrick> Nonone said that... did they? I think it would be a shame to loose a fast driver like yourself so I certainly hope you stay! :)
Btw: I sooo knew you where sandbaggin' *cough* ;)

why so offended patrick ? as far as i know and read here no body put u in a bad name ... this sounds more like a easy and bad excuse to get out of NAR and concentrate on Fsr , as we all know is your 1st priority .... nice racing u in NAR...

PATRICK : while i am the only driver that is really fair on the track and thats even not good enough ..

...( M8 have u even watched any replays of other drivers in NAR , i defenetly see loads of fairness on track) atleast i would like to think about myself as a fair driver , and i think i am actually !!!

We just need to keep in mind that we all have different personality, different way of seeing NAR race. Some take it realy seriously, and some take more easy.

Drivers that get confront to same level of performance, in certain circompstance may have spark between them. No mather if we race for fun or with alot of ambition, we need to have respect both eatch other.

Pat, your invited to race USA while we finish the discussion going on between you and admins. You will have all summer break to think about it  Im shure you will be back, hands and feet shaking of not racing for 6 weeks,

Patrick. I think you should re-evaluate your views of you fellow NAR-drivers
while i am the only driver that is really fair on the track and thats even not good enough

What is that suppposed to mean? I think you owe many drivers here an apology....and an explanation of what you really mean. Many of these guys are the most fair racers I have ever driven with.

I hope we can solve this Patrick. Ofcourse you can fight for your position unless you are dangerous to other drivers. With damaged brakes I felt that it was unsafe for you to fight the way you did. But it is just my opinion, the supervisors are looking into it. I will have no other saying than my view point and opinions in the matter to try and give them good base of information to determine what should be done, if anything.

I hope you can stay in NAR Pat, you are the 2nd fastest driver I've seen (NAR Mark was unbeatable in his glory days, you make too many mistakes, heheh  ) and it would be great to have you here still. Someone have to take up the battle with MAC. :D

Limpy:
About the incident on the straight. IMO it is a race incident (we both keep our lines, just moving inches towards eachother) but I could maybe have gotten a little closer to the wall. I had more top speed than you and I figured that it was a safe pass. Sorry dude if it damaged your car.

Wheel to wheel racing is dangerous.

Indeed he was Steve. We had some great drivers back then, Alx Danielson for example, and not even he (as a real fomrula car driver) could beat him even though he was close sometimes.

ALX Danielson was not only fast .He was also fun to chat with.NAR Mark was just plain crazy fast.I couldn't believe some of the times he was posting.Dutch,Killa,Tacman,BigMac,Sirsmokey,ALX,T.Karlsson,Samypho...man the list could go on but its too early in the morning for thinking. All the old school f1challenge racers even if you crashed out.The above names were always fun to watch on live t.v coverage.Always a battle goin on somewhere.
I would like to say though as time goes by everyone has been fairly careful into that first corner.Seems like we get more good starts than bad ones now.I distictly remember 2 years ago watching a first corner pileup in my rearview mirror.Carbon fibre, smoke, empty beer bottles, suspension parts, gravel.Had I not been driving I would have smacked myself in the head and uttered some curse words in Italian.A fight for real estate in the back of the pack.Thank god for Rfactor. That all I can say..LOL....
