Canadian GP - NA division results and comments

Post by Bilbo »

THE NAR NA Canadian GP is postponed due to circumstances beyond our control.

Next race will be the USA GP next week as planned in the calendar. The NA Australian and Canadian GP will be raced at some other time in the season (to be determined).

As of 18:30, there is a problem with the rFactor servers/network. I can't start any server or even just the game. This has been witnessed by others in this thread at RSC too, so it's not just me.

If things are not fixed in the next hour and a half or so, we may have to postpone the NA race. Stay tuned for more details!

If any want to practice, disconect your modem and open rfactor game, it will work. Check here around 8pm tonight (eastern time) Bilbo (or me) will anounce if the race is posponed or not.

Do not re-install your game, its a ISI (fractor) problem.

Unplug your internet connection. The game will load but all the settings are now fucked up and F1 Champions won't work for me nor by user data although it's still in the directory.

That's what we all have, Brad. The only way to start the game for single-player (to practice while waiting after ISI) is to disconnect your network before starting the game or setting "disable netcomm=1" in your PLR file. Just be sure to put things back to what they were when ISI fixes their stuff...

It does NOT affect anything if you do it properly...

Just a few minutes too late, as Murphy would have it... :?

Anyways, as we can't unpostpone the race, I'll start a practice server in a few minutes with the USA track for testing and practice.
