Arms for RF/F1Champions

Post by Ruben Miranda »

Hello Guys
I just got arms in F1C
Not the best grafics but not that bad either.
They work with out MM although it uses the stock FIS whell but still not that terriable.

Here is a pic

and you can get them here if you want to try them
http://forum.rscnet.org/showthread.php? ... ost3067422

Love to here what you think and I hope you enjoy them

Here is a pic of Silverstone at sunset I did this the other day.
These are HighRes skys but they are fantastic I only use them on practice
I remove them for races not that my FPS drops that much may be 2 to 5 depending on the track but still.

Two files

Post by Ruben Miranda »

Hello
There are 2 files that have to be installed
1. Form_wheel.gmt Goes into C:\Program Files\rFactor\GameData\Vehicles
2. FormulaIS_cams.cam goes into C:\Program Files\rFactor\GameData\Vehicles\F1_champions

If you do not have both files then you have to redownload it.

I hope this helps

I could never understand why arms would be wanted in the cockpit :? replays maybe. Before info was displayed on steering wheels, i couldn't see the point of having them on screen either.

I suppose some like having them though, so well done to you for those people :D

Hello
I aggree Ingo and he (The Maker) is working on better graphics.

I myself don't have my wheel turning I find that it throws me off since the wheel and the tires do not turn at the at the same deggree.

Another thing I do not like about it is that he uses the stock FIS wheel and this wheel blocks the gear indecator. So I have to try and guess/Feel what gear I am in or look down and to my left refouces my eyes to see what gear i am in on the heads up display by that time I have lost time or in a wall.

Still like the arms and I am going to see if he can put them with the new wheel.
