Congratulation to Carrera fot he win. I qualif exactly were i wanted to be, behind Carrera and Mercury. I didnt feel in mood to fight to keep them behind me. I was tired and having hard time to concentrate, combine to my low fps problem, by wheel was racting with a little delay.

Aaron pass me on start, went 4 having Bilbo in my ass and i was having so mutch problem to keep him behind, i tried to keep inside to keep him in back and next curve he had better position to get me. At my 1st pit, i saw at last minute Mike was entering the pit, so i had to make an extra lap, im glad that i always carry 1 lap more fuel than what i realy need. I folowed Bilbo for all the race between 5 sec to 12 sec behind. Spun one time and manage to spin on track and keep going. At last i was pushing so hard to make a nice finish with BIlbo who always kept tha 5-6 seconde advantage on me for the complete last stint. Dam i realy got my ass kick tonight. I was also afraid of Aaron for the complete 1st stint. Lonely, but with an obsesive objective in front of me, get Bilbo...

So im realy please with my 3rd position.

Nice to cya on podium tonight Bilbo.

Well, that was a really unexpected result for me given that what little I trained was almost all in Q setup. I only had 5 laps of training + pre-race practice with my race setup.

It's nice to finally be able to get back on the podium after all that time! Thank you Brad and Hitman for missing the race!

For the race, I was on 3 stops and went easy for 1st lap and then realized I was faster than Flow (which does not happen often) so I thought he was on 2 stops and tried to pass him ASAP to not ruin my "strategy" behind him. Things went well, except for a single inconsequential spin in my 1st stint which caused me to lost maybe 2-3 seconds but I could recover and get on my way without losing position. Other than that, I made a little mistake during my 1st pit stop as I was still waiting for the team to bring the car down when it was already down (they were too quick, they must have put the car down as I was reaching for a biscuit) and
I lost a few seconds there on neutral before I woke up... The rest was mostly ensuring I could bring the car back home, which I surprisingly did. That was one of my best races ever, pace- and mistake-wise. Thanks to everyone who let me pass when being lapped, especially Mike and SteveB (I think) which I may have hindered a bit when coming out of my 2nd or 3rd pitstop. My apologies if that was the case.

Carrera was lightning fast again tonight and almost lapped me at the end. I dare not think where Carrera would be in the championship if he had got into the habit of finishing his races earlier this season...

Overall, a very good race by everyone. Only 2 DNFs on this track is less than I would have expected. Congrats to everyone who made it to the end!

I got a kinda slow start off the line. Ran the first few laps in 3rd but spun sonewhere and bilbo and flow went by. For the most part I was able to ride to the first pit stop. I think I was around 4 seconds off a flow but he seemed to be rather cautious coming in to the first pitstop. I pushed pretty hard and I came in right behind him. To my amazement I beat him out of the pits. Which at the time seemed quite exciting. Of course with all the fuel and me pushing like hell to keep him behind I had a little off and flow took the position back. The 2nd pitstop I came in to the pits pretty hard and wasn't sure the speed limiter was on. Same goof up I made in spain. Although I just drove very slow to not speed but lost 20+ seconds. From then on the race was more less interesting really. The early part racing with flow and bilbo was great fun while it lasted though.

That was a great race for all.
My tires spun a bit off the start but I managed to get into the corner as merc let me through.I could not get into the rythm right away almost like I forgot what setup I was running and what gear in what corner..LOL...I got it all figured out in the end though.Merc hounded me for many laps off the start.I saw him drop off and suspected damage or something to his car.Steve b....Quebec Mike.....Xzwins...although slower they are very polite drivers.Mike pulled over for me at least 5 times.I felt guilty then...LOL...
I did cook my tires during a pushing stint at the beggining. The rest of the race was a little more relaxed.I look forward to next race indeed.
carrera 8) 8) 8)

If you refer to past year, from Monaco is the place where you will see Carrera make less DNF and Brad, you need to wait till USA, lol  yes its true.

To bad Hitman were not there, he would of put some more pressure between Bilbo, Aaron and me. Mercury seem to been doing realy good also, but a wall seem to put an end to his dominating 2nd position.

On replay, notice a nice fight when Biblo was pushing so hard on Aaron and he finaly manage to pass him, neer start-finish line, i seem to see you both side by side.. i was like, wow Bilbo is agressive tonight... usualy, just push a little on him and he open the way, but tonight, hes was on fire.

Those who have raced with me probably know that I usually celebrate my finishes with "style". Here's a little picture from my Silverstone celebration... 8)

Hehe Flow, it just happened that nobody stayed in a position to apply pressure on me for long...

Just as you said you did not "feel" the track tonight, I had the opposite thing, I got into the rythm with the track and the car was responding quite well. I guess things just went well for me tonight, which is a nice change... 8)

I went in rfconfig and tryed DX7 instead of my usual DX9... my fps went from 20 and raise to 45!

im lucky that i was doing slow time, unless faster time woud get me in the wall, dam my head wasnt on track, no personal reason, like said, i didnt feel the track. I was hopping that Bilbo would of done a mistake that woudl alow me to get over him. My goal tonights was 3 on qualif and 2nd on podium (i did 3 and finish 3)

Im serious Bilbo, you realy impress me at sylverstone. Your average speed was excellent and you were not afraid of pushing in the ass of driver in front ! I saw you in back and said, pfff, dont worry its bilbo, and then i went speechless when you pass me, and you completely desoriented me just a little more, lol. No way i could hold you back.

Ya OK BILBO you have to STOP driving like this OK....LMAO

I agree with FLow, the last couple of races BILBO has been showing us a NEW BILBO. (DAM IT ALL)

My Qualifying run wasn't that great but was ok with it because T1 is FAST and was hoping for a MASSIVE pile up but that didn't happen..lol looks like we are ALL starting to give the respect to T1.

My start was pretty good stayed with the front runners(till T4) then it was astalavista baby  I was behind Juan and came close to touching a couple of times I knew he was a little heavier on fuel than me so I just picked the right spot and passed him safely.I had alot of pressure from Grumble for quite a few laps till he spun from then on it was just move over for the leaders and bring it home.

I finally finished one...lol

C U in MONTREAL.
