It is good to see a licenced F1 car back in a PC sim, but I wasn't too impressed after driving it.
I think most people who are impressed with it (on the LFS forum) are driving the car with Traction Control turned on. Obviously Traction Control should be bannished back to Hell, so I turned it off.
When TC is turned off the BMW F1 seems to handle a lot like the old V8 car in LFS - unbelievably nervous on the throttle (unrealistic in my opinion). I know the car has grooved tyres, but the tyres still have good grip.
The physics updates have definitely improved the other single seaters (where TC isn't an option and they have slick tyres).
Anyway, there are no F1 circuits, so I can't see myself sticking with LFS much. I do like it, but I follow F1 and like to drive the real life circuits.
Craig.
