Noob1234, we had some good opening laps there huh! I banged the car into the wall on lap 5 though and had to pit to get front wing repair. I thought I felt a small vibration after that (had yellow half wing on the display) but I was probably imagining that since I got fastest lap of the race with 1:26.809 (KABOOM!! 8) :D

I came out from the pits in 8th place and started to make my way up the field. I guess more drivers than me made mistakes cause not so many laps later I was 4th going strong with Jeff-RF 30 seconds ahead. when Noob1234 crashed out on lap 24 or so I could smell the podium again, wuhu...!

Jeff old buddy old pal, you were on a 3 stop strategy....I thought you were done after 2 stops, thats why I pushed like a maniac to gain some time on you! heheh

Well.....having secured 2nd place (yeah right), with 9 (NINE!!!!) laps left I lost brakes on my front left wheel!?!?!?! I have brake duct on 5 (brake pressure on 80%). I had same problem on Bahrain where I lost brakes with 6 laps left also with brake duct on 5.....???? Does anyone know how to solve this??? I dont want to do 3 stop races......

Anyway, great fun today aswell. After 3 races I have had 3 great races....funfunfun  :D

Congrats Sebastian to your first NAR win!

A most enjoyable race, i say that cos i finished well.

Quali was bad, i had literally walked in the room from the WC and saw klazz asking me to go out, so i sat down and went out quite cold and unready, hence a 128. Seems we all went to the WC cos others also followed suit.

Anyway 4th then 6th in turn one. but just kept plugging. ost some time fighting so decided to sit it out, seemed to work as ppl just fell away and i found myself in 3rd. some pressure from mark but he seemed to drop back 2 secs then be right on my tail then back again. anyways was on 3 stopper and had 33 secs on Killa. but this wasnt enough as he drove by while i was taking a drink. Finally got going and tried to put in some good laps to keep the gap down knowing i had to stop 2 times more. Got 3rd back on Killa for a while then PM dropped out so was 2nd. till my pit when Killa took 3rd. was like that for rest of race till i Drove past poor Killa with no brakes.
Just prayed for SK to crash but it didnt happen so 2nd.

NICE!!!!!

....

I was talking to noob1234 and he asked me to check the "disc size".....we can chose between 2.4 and 3.0 and I have it in 2.4......my guess is that everyone else have it on 3.0 on their race setups.

This could have been a good race for me but after that crash the wheel was not centred any more. I tried to fix it in pit but it didn't work and it was very difficult to go on like that so i crashed another time and the race was over for me. Next race it'll be better

So stupid of me to think that mine conection problem was solved  ,... its still there and for the 3th time  a disconection at about the same time in the race,.. around lap 10 to 15...... amazing.

Although the few laps i had where nice, just couldnt get pas jeff  i was trying alot sometimes within a few tents on his tail but i couldnt get the slipstream on him, seemed to me he had less wing then me. Because of that trying i made some small mistakes.

And then bang connection lost

Mark Aalberts
