NAR server on GTR

I have been told that some people are using NAR server as name for GTR. If some get in those server and can talk to the host, if they are NAR member or related to a nar member, just to find out? I dont want some stupid kids use our name to get people to join and if they dont reflect our having fun driving in respect... and make uss look like **$&$*$!

Hope all understand what i mean. I wont call my server FSR if im not related to them, im shure they woudnt apreciate. in other hands, all NAR member are welcome to use that name to call a server.

Well, I have to admit that our league name, although I like it very much, is pretty generic. "No Aids Racing" is a generic term that defines a kind of racing very popular with the enthusiast sim racers, all games confounded. You can't prevent anyone from using it as such, although we can definitely take offense if they name their league after it.

I'd give them the benefit of the doubt of thinking the acronym NAR is short for "no aids racing" (the kind of racing) instead of the "no aids" it is usually shortened to. I'd explain the situation to them but not apply much pressure on them at first. That is IF I could be bothered to get online with GTR, which I have not done yet due mostly to lack of time and interest (I don't think we'll ever become a GTR league).

It's just a shame that GTR has such lousy net code, because it is one fantastic racing SIMULATION

I second that Steve. As a sim, (given my limited experience with it, mostly hotlapping) it's definitely one of the best ever, IMO.

Thats german mark yes,... i talked with him a few days ago and he told me he had a nar server up

And i dont think he drives with kiddy's,.. he knows what he do

That's for sure Dutch, he's just as fast in GTR as he is in F1C, lol, was a second faster than everyone else, and about 4 secs faster than me, lol

Yes ,Actually he usaually does the e.mtl server in GTR...There are a few of those.Mark has always been a speedemon even in GTR.True that the sim is great but sad that everything is connected through a shitty lobby system even when direct i.p....shame on you simbin....
