Actually, we NEVER (or almost never in this case) know, which is another problem...

Congrats to Juan for the win and almsot everyone else for finishing!

Kaali, I broke the suspension badly on lap 11 (hit wall sideways at speed and lost both wings) and managed to make it to the end. I played it mostly safe for most of the race but near the end, I started pushing to find the limit of that suspension.

As it happens, this is a good track to break a suspension on. It did not affect much in the turns but it was hard to control on the front (pit) straight. Since this track is mostly about turns, it did not handicap me as much as it could have on another track with more straight lines...

It was strange to follow slower cars that were ahead by a lap or more. Thanks to all who let me pass and did not push to blue-flag me back, Xz among others was very clean about it. Very sorry to have hit Steve in the first part of the race (I did my drive-through) and to Paul for a near-miss while I was out of control.

More comments to follow after I have looked at the replay tomorrow night...

Well I wasn't going to post my eventfull race comments but that would be wimping out......lol
so here it is in a sort of nutshell....

My Qualifying lap wasn't bad, could have been alot better if my dam foot would have stopped shaking (usual occurance ) I got lucky because Juan said his arms were shaking and Bilbo made a couple of small mistakes so I was pretty excited when he crossed the line and my time was good enough for pole.

The start was HORRIBLE to say the least.....I left the line like a friggin turtle...all of a sudden reaching T1 I had the whole bloody grid swarrming around me I couldn't even hear my own engine, I saw Juan beside me and was afraid to get on the throttle in fear of spinning, but managed to stay ahead (great job to everyone @ T1)

Approaching T5 what do you know.....I spin, painfully watching everyone go by I get back on track....THE CHASE IS ON!!!!!

To make a long story shorter......LMAO
I caught XZ and was able to pass(sorry XZ if it was too risky) but at the next corner I spun handing the position back to XZ.....this happened 4 more times until the last time I closed a 35 second gap passed XZ and held on to it.
I closed the gap to Steve and made a SATO move in T1 and Steve tried to hold on going into T2 and I saw him slide into the barriers...DAM!!!!!

Exiting from my last pit stop Steve was 9 seconds behind and I waited for him and gave him back P3 for the stupid SATO move I did in T1.

SORRY to Steve and XZ for the possible too agressive behaviour I had I was just very frustrated with the way my race was unfolding..

My APPOLOGIES to both of you...

CONGRATS to Juan on his first win and to ALL who finished....I think this is the biggest finish we've had...(well since I have been with NAR) only 1 DNF....

Was definitely some good action in this race, was nice to have some excitement for a change !! Steverino, i was just messing with ya calling you Sato m8, hehe, congrats to Juan on a very strong race, and to XZ for perserverijng to the end < damn i was really wanting to get second and gain a few points on ya m8 > hehe

sorry to reply so late...
it was a pretty good race for me, lucky to finish second because almost everybody was faster than me.
I started 4 and i have been overtaken soon ! and i had to figth with the ferrari of steveb a couple of time.... man you make me nervous!!!!

and bilbo you did suprise me in t6 up the hill overtaking me there!

and with no colision

i was sad all the race because you were to fast for me steve, so you were catching up on me for the championship! you were second and me third... but like you said my patience paid off ( i think its because of a stop and go you had because of the speed limit in the pit?? )
And bilbo no problem to let you past fairly when you were one lap behind... i had nothing to win in that !!!
and juan you were the king on that track congraluation !
