Post by Franc »

Here's another "great" idea by the FIA.

Loocking forward to Ferrari's response to this

Hello Guys
I know Fan's want more over taking hell I am one of them :D

But you ask any driver who is worth there salt to have that seat.
Over taking is a skill they (IMHO) can not make a car for over taking.

Just becuase the car can do it do's not mean the driver can.

Take F3 class these cars are well except for the paint job are exactly the same and How much over taking do you see in there races.

The more they make these car the same and slow them down and all that the more fan base they will lose.
What sets F1 apart from the rest is there advancement there speed and the driver that can handle such a car.

Again in my humble oppiuion.

I might not be fast, But I am ahead of you.

You guys understand what the wing means???

Here take a look at it

http://images.f1racing.net/large/53363.jpg

 i hope they are kidding.

And they forgetting someting else,... what about the diffuser,... do they understand that that also creates drag behind a car???

They just should standarsize the diffuser and a normal wing thats mine opinion,... and more important what i always have said,.. get rid of the electronic helps TC LC etc etc.

One thing wich im verry happy with are the slicks wich are comming back in 2007 if im right. :D

And who said the "walrus nose"was ugly...he better thinks again ;)

Personaly i dont think this will do the trick though..take a look at A1GP all cars equall, all teams have limmited cash/test hours..thats the way that could make F1 more intresting in my oppinion..bet hey....thats just me ;)

GEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!

What on earth is the FIA doing?
All these bloody rule changes IMO makes F1 look very very unstable.

Why can't they just leave things alone, worry ONLY about making it more affordable for the smaller teams and THATS IT!!!!

Always changing the rules, the cars, the this, the that, BLA BLA BLA is what's making it very unappealing to me IMO.
Like I have mentioned before I am a diehard F1 fan since I saw my first race at 4 yrs old but all this crap the FIA is doing is REDICULOUS!!!
not to mention making them look like a bunch of IDIOTS who don't know what to do or how to continue to keep F1 the pinnacle of the sport of racing.

just my opinion....
FORZA FERRARI !!

I doubt that the team bosses will agree to implement that new rear wing or should we say new rear wingSs for the 2007 season. The teams need to develop and test it thoroughly and make sure it can be safe before using it. Maybe it will be introduced in 2008?

BTW where are all those cost savings Max Mosley proposes almost each year?

Here are the some of the cost "savings" plans he has proposed:

3rd car to be used by some teams on fridays.

Engines to last 2 race weekends.

1 set of tyres to last from qualifying until end of race.

Tyre changes will also return next season.

Not exactly cheap stuff...

Well, anyways here an idea how the new wing concept might look like:
