Ok...Steve B has mailed me a bunch of mods that I have to install
Can anyone tell me how to install them and what order to install them in?
the mod files I have are:EmapV4 ,2004rh_4_f1c99-02_track-pack_v1[1].05 ,2004rh_4_f1c99-02_optionalctdfix_v1[1].05 , 2004rh_4_f1c99-02_basepack_v1[1].05 , 2004rh_4_f1c99-02_expansionpack_v1[1].05
, 2004rh_4_f1c99-02_trackpack_v1[1].05hotfix and 2004rh_4_f1c99-02_tracks_update_v1[1].05 Thats alot of mods!

right now, just install the NAR mod, and the 1.1 patch m8

The filenames for the NAR2005 mod should be:

Install_NAR2005_10.zip and Update_NAR2005_11.zip

If you don't have them on your CD, you can get them from the NAR website (click Download). Install them in the above-mentioned order and you should be up and running. That's all that is required to join the NA servers but you may also want to install RH2004 if you want to join the Euro servers but be warned that the physics are really different and you will have to adjust your setups (and your driving) for each.

bilbo, have you heard of any problems when installing the RH04 stuff AFTER already installing the NAR mod? i tried it a while back, and the RH stuff was totally messed up, wheels looked broken even in the garage, ,lol, i'd like to reinstall it, but don't really want to go through the pain of reinstalling everything

I cannot answer to anything that came out after the NAR mod as I did not have a crystal ball when I made the mod, especially since I'm not much of an absolutely-gotta-try-that-new-kickazz-mod kind of guy.

So, no, I haven't heard of that problem, you're the first to complain so far. I cannot imagine how the NAR mod could affect the RH mod in any way, I would actually expect the opposite to be true (installing RH and screwing the NAR mod) if I have made a mistake in the NAR mod (which is never to be ruled out). That is assuming that the RH mod is well-behaved, which it may or may not be...

You could always have the mods in different game installations or uninstall the NAR mod before installing RH and reinstalling the NAR mod after. I can't guarantee anything about the RH 1.05 mod as I have never tried it. Sorry if I can't be of much more assistance.

np bilbo, for all i know it could have been a driver problem with that junk Nvidia card i had, LOL
