Thanks guys.
Is there only 1 race left on your calender or are you going to race all circuits?
The files that you use in this league will they change my F1 Challenge game I have now,(ie. settings, RH v 1.05 carset etc.)

We're halfway through our season. We do all the circuits but we've just entered our "summer break" as most people will have vacations and would miss races...
You can see the whole schedule HERE at our website.
You can also download the NAR2005 mod (v1.1) from there, if you haven't already. It's required if you want to join a North American NAR server (i.e. if the track name starts with NAR2005 in the server list). It does not require (and does not affect if you have them) RH03 or RH04 and should not conflict with any other mod.

Thats great to hear Steve and Bilbo,
I hope I get a seat for the 2nd half of your season.
I am downloading the required files now and I am going to do some testing to get use to the car.
I haven't done any testing with the LC, I don't even know how to work it lmao
but I am sure I can get the job done.
In FRANCE right now I am in the low 1:11's
So I don't have to download both files in the download section?

Yes, you have to download and install both files since you would be joining one of the NA divs which DO use the mod (unlike the Euro div. which uses RH04).
BTW, the NAR2005 mod we use in the NA div1 & div2 implement the RH03 physics over the RH04 graphics. Meaning it looks like '04 cars but they drive like '03.

OK I have installed all the files but I have a BIG problem.
How on GOD'S earth do you drive with no TC.
I have the rear wing at 50 and I can't exit a corner without spinning.I am barely touching the accelerator and the back end comes around on me.
Any tips?
I really want to race with you guys but at this rate I won't even be able to Qualify.

I agree on the practice....hehehe
I usually exit a corner in 1st gear. What you are saying it is better to exit in 2nd or 3rd gear?
What if I am still spinning? lmao
I am a very competetive person and want to get the most out of this. So far the few laps I have run I am disappointed
By the way does anyone hold practice sessions during your summer break?
If so what would the game name be and what is the password used?
by the way HAPPY BIRTHDAY Steve

Hehe, practice really is the key. If you're gonna drive with no aids, you have to learn to play the throttle.
Bear in mind that every time you would normally hear the TC kick in now means you're giving it too much gas and are on your way to a spin. You're gonna "find the limit" (I'm sure you heard that before!) by yourself sooner or later and that's when you're gonna start to like driving with no aids! It's pretty frustrating to learn at first but becomes almost second nature with practice and it's also really satisfying. Also, remember that the mod uses the RH03 physics, which in themselves are harder (less forgiving) than what you have in RH04, TC or not.
Being smooth is the secret, you can restart to be aggressive when you have gone through TC withdrawal...
There are no "formal" practice sessions but there is often someone having a server online in the evening/night. Usually it has NAR somewhere in the name but if in doubt, look at the track names (for the NA servers, at least). As for passwords, I'm sure you will find them easily once/if you become a "full" NAR member and have access to the private section of this forum (as we don't change passwords very often). Otherwise, the practice servers often don't use passwords.
