Fishy

Post by Ruben Miranda »

Hey Steve
Nice Bass mate
Another couple of inchs and in the frying pan she goes. :D

Now a days the Fishing here localy is 0 to none unless you go to a stock pond put that sucks to many people and the trout are always the same 2 to 21/2 lb's. For the great fishing Bass and brown trout it is a good day drive 12 hours so it is a weekend trip for sure.

Hey Steve
I understand what you mean (by Regal) And the fight.

? Is there a size limit on Bass in Illonios. I think (If memory serves) it is 22 inchs before it is a legal catch other wise you have to put them back.
And beleave me they are watching and you do not want to get cault. Unless you want to go broke the fine is hefty for thode who do not have respect for the rules.

there are different length limits in certain areas, here in MISSOURI < not illinois, hehe > there are several "trophy" areas for smallmouth bass, you can only keep one, and they have to be at least 15 inches long, in regular areas the limit is 6, and they must be at least 12" long, although i never keep em anyway :o) This is the Big Piney river, one of the best smallmouth streams in missouri, they have a trophy area on this one. Is that beautiful or what???
