Well,
2:48 was my best was drinking beer and saw 2 tracks. That was fun..
Somehow I managed to take an offramp and drove thru sirsmokealots garage doors and out the other side...said something about wanted 2 entries anyway..glad to help Dennis......
I have no idea what my personal best is.I have been running around the 1:48's lately..I could do a 1:47 with a tail wind maybe..or maybe if Dan the man was in front i could draft. But other than that...
I am much much better at Dwarf throwing it seems.
Anyway I have been to Spa and am a lot healthier because of it...
as for racing..well..I may have to let a few rabbits on the track for obstacles but only div 2..Div 1 will get the naked Dwarves this time(if I can swing it with the little people Union) and i may have to hook a chain on Dan's car to keep up LOL
carey

Why dont you let that naked dwarve drive for you
Its a big weight loose u make and that should be a sec faster for sure
Wooow 1.45 hmmm believe i have a job to do
O yeah carrera u ever drove eau rouge revers... i mean backwards
Just trie it out its fuuuuuuuuuuuun and if u are able to follow the track and dont crash without pulling your feets of trotle your tha man.
Taking eau roug full trottle requires a big hart,.... if i had 9 kat lifes hehe after yesterday they should be gone then.

After my first practice session I did a 1:49.6

but hey, at my fist practice session in Hungary I did a 1:19.6, and my pb ended up being a 1:14.7
And I don't really have the hang of the track yet, so I expect to improve alot by race time. And, don't worry dutch, I'm working on race setup too

ok, is eau rouge the second series of fast left handers(near the end of the track), or the first series of fast lefthanders? 'cause if it's the first part, then holy shit man...., but the second part is a cake walk with full throttle...I'm assuming the first one is eau rouge .

Eau Rouge is the complex of curves after the initial hairpin. I myself cannot take it flat-out, and often end up going down one gear through it to give myself a feeling of security and some extra oompf when accelerating up/out of the complex. But it all depends on your setup.
I try not to dip below 290 km/h through Eau Rouge, and I usually manage that without being too adventureous.

I can't quite go flat out in Eau Rouge but maybe with a little more downforce I can. I've been having trouble completing a lap without a mistake. I had a couple great laps going and spun in the bus stop chicane.

The track feels quite different than it did in F12002 and I can't seem to use the curbs like i use too. But this is one of my favorite tracks

Setup Mr.G....setup, oh...and driving(which I can't do good at this track, yet)
Ah.....if you do Eau Rouge right you should be able to take it full-throttle.....if you can't you might have something in the setup that is making impossible to do so(anti-roll and spring settings) but it is rather illogical to make track settings just to accomodate for that section, so it might just be that a good lap with your driving style requires you to slow down a tad there. I don't slow down and I have 1:49 times, dan does and has 1:45 time, so there you go....how much did it help me?

my downforce is 40/42

I'm going to do a good lap and make it downloadable in this thread(in the next few hours I hope) and I will take "Pouhon" full-throttle and show you what having balls is all about

Posted: 20 Aug 2003, 15:27
by Erick
1:48.2 only, and pouhon not full-throttle....it is impossible. and I don't have a lap to upload, 'cause for some reason in NAR season the replays don't record most of the time

. How can I fix? Reinstall? PLR?

1:47.8 new pb
had many better laps going....but just couldn't complete them

by Mr.G
getting the hang of it!
1.47.3
Eau rouge is almost flat, lets say 97%, pouhon im taking in 4th, or 5th, depends how much courage im havi ng at that moment
topspeed is 330-335 depends on eau rouge.
I think the place where i lost most of my time is the cornersection after pouhon heading towards blanchimont....and off course the busstop. So easy to loose the car there if ure running to hard on the curbs.

I'm currently at 1:47.2
very eager to get into 46 though.... should be only a matter of time.
