Yeah the latest rumours state that around 5 to 6 teams will join IRL, or perhaps it will be called different i dont know. They will receive free cars and i believe they even get some money from Tony so i think thats a verry tempting offer and it can only result in that champcar will disapear.

Sad that it disapears, it has some history with great racing in the 90s so yeah i think i will miss it though. But hopefuly the great days will revival now with big size fields and close racing as usual. I believe they will have 19 races then to. 8)

Speedtv.com anounce that an official anouncement should be done on wednesday if Kevin Kalkhoven is back in time from Britain. It took 2 weeks of negociation, and it is many laywer of both series that work the final paper all the weekend to make it possible as fast as they can. Let see if the rhumor is from official source.

The american actor Jason Priestley (beverly hill 90210  )who is shareholder in a team hope to driver at the Indy 500 in May.

Hello
I read about this a while back I thought they would merge in to one big race team.
Not delete on or another that would suck
To me IRL is just NAS car with open wheelers going fast in a circle.

Keep Champcar get rid of IRL
Oh Dana can come back to Champcar

I was looking at the race list yesterday and man are a lot of rather big races being lost this year. Who knows maybe some will be back next year though. I still hate the IRL which is sadly the only series now. I guess it doesn't matter cause I haven't watched either much the last year or two.

I would like to see what will happen now that they are merging alot of rookies with veteran drivers, going to be interesting and I wonder if the female driver(s) will be allowed to participate.

Trust me that Patrcick will stay there, she brought alot of visibility and open mind (not like in F1) that women, if they are good, seat is open for them.

Just the opposite of Katherine Legge in ChampCar (not that I have been paying much attention last season)...

IRL counted already 16 cars, and they expect that from 8 to 12 cars from Champcar will join. This will put on grid from 24 to 28 cars, witch is realy interesting.

YUP.. :) thanks to Micheal Andretti the TORONTO race has been put back onto the IRL calendar.
Apparently he bought the rights to the race, paid off their debts and back to racing in TORONTO. :)

I don't know if I heard things right but ..... I heard there was supposed to be changes to the circuit layout and some other things.
