I know that feeling... Here, we received our first foot of snow about 2 weeks ago and we're set to receive our 2nd foot tomorrow, according to the latest forecasts.
If not for those little moments when you can have fun playing with your car in some open space or empty wide road, I would TOTALLY hate winter... Can I have my global warming now, please?

LOL Bilbo, I know this is childs play for you Canucks, but we don't get many BIG snows here. been ages since we've had more than 6-8" of snow here, and it is usually gone in a few days. I can't even imagine what it is like for you folks in the "great white north" to have snow on the ground for months at a time !!

The fact that we're used to having snow around here does not mean that we like it, although some people (of which I exclude myself) do.

I like the way it looks, but sure hate driving in it !! Put on my Tamron 70-300MM lens, and took a few shots out of the window, caught falling flakes, and a squirrel chewing on an acorn.

I feel like shoveling eatch days. We received a big snow storm and almost few centimeter eatch 2 days since that storm. I took that 2 weeks ago when we receive our 1st snow... the quality of picture is not that good, it was taken fast with my cell phone.
One is the snow accumulate on wife car (acura) in the morning of snow storm, the other was on the same night.

Hello
Well we are expecting a lot of rain here (So Cal)
But here it never ever snows in the City we get Snow in the mountains.
Our weather is like this
In the Winter you can drive up to the Snow and play in it come Home and then go Surfing at the Beach if you so chose.
But you will never have to dig your car out of the drive way.
The only real worry this year is that we have had some big fires and with all the rain coming they are expecting a lot of mud slides and the are a lot of homes in the path.

interesting steve, i figured in St. Louis you would have more snow than that. when i lived in omaha ne, we would have solid snow on the ground for like 4 months!! i still remember the day i moved there from texas, i was 17 (christ has it been that long!!! 16 years ago!!) and the day we arrived in omaha, a blizzard hit droping about 8 inches of snow in no time! i just remember looking at my 87 mazda rx7 thinking that this was going to be either alot of fun, or im going to wreck the shit out of the car! luckily it was alot of fun

Once in a great while we'll get a 10-12" snowfall, but it is pretty rare. The biggest I remember was a 20 incher in 1982, took me all day to dig my friggin car out of that, lol, and believe me, I am in NO hurry to see that again !!
