My last minute setup choice went perfect, i had alot of luck. My qualif was so bad, but the same setup for race was just great.

I lost few position at start, i had the feeling that a McLaren done a little left move toward me to avoid others on the inside, and i went too cautius and too wide on the outside, putting me at back. I climb up one by one to finaly end up fighting like hell with SteveB for the 1st place. Many side by side, and we were exchanging the lead. I pit in earlier, cause i was on a 3 stops, expecting all other to be on 2, i just took the right decision, my tire were distroyed at end of estch stint.

I exit the last stop at 2 sec behind Bilbo. That last stint was just another hell of fight with him. I had a contact with Bilbo, not shure if i cought him cause he was spining, or i cause him his spin, our different line (inside Bilbo and Outside for me) cause us to have verry different braking point and different line for T1. i wait him to take back his position, and finaly pass him cleanly when he climb up the hill with too mutch pressure from behind, he was wide outiside of track at top, and from there, i only had to push hard to take distance, and i finish few second in front of him.

Was a great last race, i had more fight with other driver in this race that all other race in season. Was just fun! Was also a great season, we can all clap our hand, a big high five to all!

Now lets ROCk it at Suzuka, just for the pleasure of a full grid.

That was a very close race.

My Qualy lap was pretty good yet again my foot was shaking and was afraid of getting on the throttle too soon but to my surprise I got pole so I was very happy.

Race start was pretty good took P1 at T1 I thought I would be able to start to open a gap but my set just didn't work tonight.I tested this set for so many laps in Practice and it was GREAT then SUCKED in real race.
I managed to keep Juan behind then something happened to him and saw Flow reeling me in like a fish (DAM IT ALL) in the second sector I just had no grip at all at the front and wasn't able to push through th twisty section I was loosing at least .500 of a second through there.

The battle between Flow and I was pretty intense to say the least. then a small battle with Bilbo which happened close to the end of my second stint.

I hope we can repeat this second part of the season next year, IT WAS AWESOME !!!

WELL DONE to those being lapped you were true gentlemen :)

CONGRATS to Flow and Bilbo and to all who finished this last race.

C U at SUZUKA>>>>>OMG another ass wooping....(Bilbo's favourite track.......GREAT.) LOL jk

First, congrats to all who finished and to Flow for the win.

This race has almost been constant battles. In addition to battles with Aaron, Juan and SteveB, I had to fight against interval times with Flow who was on a 3-stopper. I was confident his strategy wouldn't work but it would be close as he was faster than me. I tried to push so that he wouldn't come out in front of me after his last stop (I would then have no hope of catching up). I managed to be 2-3 seconds in front of him as he exited the pits but since he was faster than me, all I could do was try to keep him behind me. So I had to do some defensive driving, which I'm not really used to because I usually don't bother (giving up, for example, a 5th position to a faster driver to prevent a crash is not exactly the same as giving up a win!). So, since Flow was sniffing at my ass and I had to look at my mirrors, to know when and on which side he would attack, I made a few mistakes, particularly at T1 (which would lead to Flow hitting me) and going wide at the exit of the climbing fast right (Ferradura?), one of which would finally cost me the win.

Overall, the fights were very clean and very enjoyable (at least from my side!). Particular thanks go to the lapped traffic (you know who you are) for safely moving over at every opportunity. I don't think I've had to slow even once and all moves were very clear. That's very appreciated.

Finally, thanks to everyone for another great season. Particularly to all those who shared a setup with me at one time or another. I won't give names for fear of forgetting anyone but I am in indebted despite sharing my own setups, the few times they did not suck too much. My racing would definitely not have been as enjoyable without all your help. 8)

Now, on to SUZUKA!!! Woohoo! 8)

My Q was dreadful, I spun and rather than come back on and screw up someone elses lap i hit esc. I had very little time to practice here so starting at the back was just fine with me.

My race set was decent, I was able to be fairly consistant, slow comparatively but consistent. With between 6-8 laps left I had Aaron who was in sixth coming fast to lap me, I was trying to figure what line he was on and get out of his way but he was really coming fast and I guess I chose wrong. At any rate he hit me square and knocked off my rear wing and Aaron was in the grass, I thought he still had power but apparently not.

Aaron I am very sorry for this incident, I feel horribly about your DNF. I have PM'd Steve to look at it and if I am at fault I have offered up my points to you, as you were in the championship fight and I was not. I do not want to be the cause of you loosing a position.

Well thats quite kind of you Paul but it wasn't your fault, just a racing accident. If anything I should thank you for getting me out of my misery. I'm glad that you finished at least.

Well here goes. I blew qualli like a thai hooker. I wanted to go out first but my teamate beat me out. Guess he had the same idea. Didn't do a great start here cause there's nowhere to go really. Was sitting in a distant 4th and not really happy about it. After my last pitstop I somehow spun a T1, thought i was going to be ok till at the last second hit the wall sticking out and lost my wing. After that I was running in 6th and throwing an Alonso hissy fit. I was overdriving the car quite a bit, came up on paul and thought he was going to turn into the corner. So i stayed out wide thinking I could use the run off if i needed too. Paul backed off and I hit him quite hard. My car might have been fixable but I had enough anyway. Sorry to get into you Paul, glad that you managed to finish. It was a disappointing end to a disappointing season.

I just watch back few minutes the replay, and wow, look at lap 18, we were 4 cars fighting for the lead, all with in 1-2 second at one moment. I was exchanging the lead with SteveB, that was giving me an hell of headake, lol. Those fight were making us slower and back driver were catching us. I also notice that before getting there, i had to pass steve on inside of a corner, with was a close side by side, wheu, and Bilbo offered me alot of resistance also. Then SteveB was my target.

In the 1st stint, i think i was in almost neerly 10 situation that few inches seperate my car from another one at few moment. At all time, i felt in control, but i must say that 1-2 of those close shot made me nervous and i had to change line to be shure i dont hit someone, but what a feeling! lol  was verry fun. And few corner, i was not in evident position to make the inside clean, so i had to pull behind, and that is not easy thing to do with no loose of time, and avoid any contact.

Great race

Hello

Personally this was my best race all season I beleave.
I felt very good in the car and a finaly think I got a handle on the setup.
To bad it is over

The race went well a few mistakes and only 1 or 2 big ones.
My start was good cleared the first turn (I think side by side with Flow)
And stayed on him for the most part thru the first lap but I over shot the first turn and got way behind.
I fought with Steve for a few laps trying to catch him then pass him was not a easy thing to do (Great Driving Steve) I got passed him but then again messed up at the first turn and then had to re catch Steve and pass him again. Between pushing as hard as I can and the pit stops I got up in to forth.
Where Juan (who was faster) Plus I made a small mistake with that Juan cault(SPC) up to me. With that is was a fight to the end I was keeping him back but I over shot a little and he gave me a little bump that gave me a little rear damage so from there on I just could not hold him back and he got pass me but it was a great fight.
We where side by side bumping wheels going in to turns trying hard to out brake each other awesome battle.
Thanks Juan for the fight.

Well Japan should be very entrusting to say the least.
CU all there

I was on the right of Bilbo (or juan) on the outside of curve. You were on the inside of that McLaren i think.

Steve is not the fastest driver, but is the hardest driver to pass, since he is driving verrey intelligently. Clean and defensive drivingm he knows where to place himself at enter and exit of corner to keep you behind. I was persnaly suprise to pass him, he went wide i pointed my nose in, and side by side, with 4-5 inches wheel to wheel, i got him on the ousite of next turn.

What a race :)
I had good start and manage to stay second,I was kissing Steve B rear wing for 8 laps and at T 5 run wide kissing the wall damaging front suspencion :x , 48 sec to repair the damage.

Afther my first pit stop exit on p7 32sec behind Hitman.
Sorry Hitman for that hit at T1, I whach the replay and it was pure race incident, we bump each other again at T 7, great battle :) .

Congrats to Flow for the win and all who finesh the race.

It was a pleasure to be racing with you too, Juan. Unlike in real-life, there were no Alonso-syndrome in our team! 8)

I owe a very good part of my end-of-season success to your help with the setups, and you pretty much "saved" the team from total humiliation by yourself at the start of the season. I'm kinda feeling bad to finish in front of you in the driver's championship as you had dominated over me for most of the season and it's only been with your help that I could finish over you at the end. I wish I could trade a few points with you... :? In any case, thank you VERY much!

Hehe, just call me the Mark Webber of NAR. I am not as fast as the big guys, but you're gonna have to work your ass off to get by me !! I love it when i hear someone right behind me, it makes the race so much more fun when you are fighting with another driver. I really hope we get a lot of drivers for the ROC, will make for everyone having some battles on track !! Driving alone < especially if you are way back in the pack > is quite boring !!
