Nascar in Montréal

Post by Flow »

The fastest test lap of nascar was 1:43,198 on Gilles Villeneuve circuit, 27 secondes slower than Hamilton 2007 pole lap time of 1:15,705. This morning, i was at 2 km of track, and i was suprise to ear the sound of the car, as loud as an F1, but way mutch more lower big block engine sound.

I wish i could assist, but not this year.

Wow, Patrick Carpentier, 1st race in Nascar Bush, and he got the pole position. Hopefully the race will go good for him, he expect and hoped a 5th or 6th, to have the time to study drivers in front of begining of race, but he will have to study them from his mirror.

CARPENTIER (CAN) FINISHED 2ND!!!   he was 13th 5 laps before end, and Nascar is Nascar, nothing is finish untill the finish line is not cross. He even could of get the 1st, but the driver block him and he had to stay behind after the 1st went wide with wheels in grass.

Was a great event for the 1st time here in Montreal for Nascar, at least, they were not turning in circle!

It was a great event, but I think it showed both the good side and the bad side of NASCAR...
