I tried the Demo, it looks good, but the cars are slooooooooooooooooooooow, lol, if you want a tin top game, get GTR2, it is very nice ! With Race, i think you have to use Steam to play it online. If you look around enough, someone converted the GTR2 cars to rFactor, and it is pretty nice too, but the site where I got it is offline, not sure where you can get it now, but i am sure it is out there somewhere.

i love the cart mod , the cars as you demonstrated look great. i have no idea how a real cart car handles but it feels right to me if that makes any sense.

Hey Steve
I tried the Race demo just now....and yes, it feels a little slow. Tried with hud camera and it was a little better, more speed feeling. I like the physics and all but I don't see a reason to buy that game when there are plenty of good mods to rfactor that are more or less same feeling....and free.

....ok....on to Champ car :)

Try the Proton Mod, the McLaren F1 mod, the Aussie V8's mod, The Megane trophy mod, DTM 2007 mod, Porsche Carrera Cup mod. all good stuff I think all of these are available ar rFactorcentral m8

Yeap!
I've been driving Megane Trophy 2.02 today, awesome....I drove it a lot this winter and liked it and it is still fun, and with the upgrades its even more fun,

Tried ChampCar too......and Indy500.....that was a little harder....sometimes I wonder if people are driving with keyboard....very jerky steering from some people....when you are going 390km/h down the straight you dont need people in front to drive slalom :D

I will also do the VANCOUVER CIRCUIT.

edited:VANCOUVER is also in game now but it too needs alot of work.

I will keep you posted (those who are interested)

I like the denver track and sint peterburgs track, realy reflects the real racing i think. Car is bouncing and jumping away in corners and under braking, realy like this mod we should get togheter for a few fun races i think.

And yeah for once i can race on mine beloving belle isle with a champcar mod  i realy like that track from the past to watch just ever wanted to drive it and is now posible to do. :D
