I'm busy with Melbourne but I keep getting "join timed out"....even when I do it on the same pc as the dedi runs on.......
Ports forwarded, no firewall at all........
I just gave RC a mail, as I understand he's the master in this kind of things.
So I hope to be running soon.

Okay, it is running......turns out that I cant just join from within the network. from outside it is possible and I can join by filling in an ip.
So; no probs anymore.
I think its not nessesary anymore; there are already two servers up and running now......

so is this the official AIW file? or is it for testing only?
Posted: 11 Feb 2007, 23:14
by Flow
Nothing is official unless it comes from admin or SteveB about track.
But Klaaz seem to make a change that make fuel usage more precise. Lets see what steveB say about it and drivers that tested it. Then it will be in SteveB hands to update the track if its good.

I will be testing this AIW file tomorrow (monday feb 12th,2007)
I will let you know then if it is official, in the mean time please do your own personal tests with it.
we are looking for a stint with about 82L of fuel I think thats about 21 laps.
PLEASE fully complete the stint until you run out of fuel and see how many laps you did.
Try to do your test right from lap 1 so you can be more accurate with the lap count.
Thanks

current Relay server:
Because limpy is back we might be able to improve the drive we have just in time before the season so we are gonna give it a go
todays testing: NEW rFm file, plus NEW engine 27 feb.
Ill also upload a backupzip to set back the files if needed.
the content of this zip needs to overwrite the rFactor folder(main jes) witch you want to update. mostly located in C : program files for the default install.
