SteveB look here, im making a track

Post by Coffeemachine »

Thought about putting all the favourite turns into one track :) the basic layout is done, but i naturally dont know shit about track building so i need a bit of help here ..

the first turn is eau rogge downhill hehe, then we go into lesmo 1 and 2, and so on...corcscrew from laguna seca.... haha.

but...if anyone knows anything about what programs to use, TELL MEEE
tried to download some weird beta of a "bob track builder" or something, didnt work all that good.

this is the track for our upcoming ROC haha :)

I hope you succeed Kaffe, would be awesome to have all the "infamous" turns in one track.

Are you planning on including the "S turns" or the Dunlop turn (including bump, of course) from Suzuka ? Please?

Not to disappoint you KAFF but I doubt you will be able to get the track finished by the RoC race maybe for next season's you might.

Most track modders who do tracks from scratch use 3Dmax I use 3DsimED and Adobe Photoshop.

Bob's track builder isn't fully completed yet you can only play around with it you can't save any files yet,but when it is complete it will be a hell of alot faster than 3Dmax or 3DsimED.
FORZA FERRARI !!

killa everyone cries and whines when the server goes to suzuka (true story :) ). i reckon the track is quite ok irl but its a killer in rfactor, i like it tho... but i am being very publistic here :)

SteveB.... hello darling...."bink" .... i have a proporsition for you....sweetie... would you like the name "coffeering steveway?"
NOW ALL OF THIS CAN BE YOURS for just one or two hours of work :)

ive downloaded 3dmax, and seriously, it makes NO SENSE AT ALL TO ME. now all we need is the road in a kinda quick manners, i think the layout as it is now is a killer. Ive done it on paper and i can scan it and send it to you!!

so...what say you?..."blink"...."hugs" "kisses"

Yup, only conversion takes many, many, many hours of work, and imagine from skratch... you can count hours by hundreds. Better get that Cofee machine boiling right now, and for the weeks to come.
