Swedish for dummies

Dear NAR members. Christmas time is coming upon us, and seing the switch of official language to swedish in the next year I feel a subtile request on this forum to translate boten anna. Especially buy the dutch guys. Youll be amazed how deep this song is ...LOL! :)

Jag känner en bot, hon heter anna anna heter hon = I know a bot, her name is Anna Anna is her name
Och hon kan banna, banna er så hårt = And she can ban you, ban you so hard
Hon städar upp i våran kanal = She cleans up in our channel
Jag vill berätta att jag känner en bot = I want to tell you that i know a bot

Som alltid vaktar alla som är här. = That always guards everyone in here
Och som ser till att vi blir utan besvär. = And make sure we are safe without trouble
Det finns ingen take-over som lyckas. = There is no take-over that's succesful
Kom ihåg att det är jag som känner en bot. = Remember that its me who knows a bot

En bot som ingen, ingen annan slår. = A bot that no one, no one else beats
Och hon kan kicka utan att hon får. = And she can kick without permission
Hon gör sig av med alla som spammar. = She gets rid of all the spammers
Ja ingen kan slå våran bot. = Yes no one can beat our bot

Then it just kinda loops around there.... add a lame techno beat and a blond computerwanker singing and you have the song boten anna with basshunter.

then we go into the bridge thing:

Sen kom den dagen jag inte trodde fans = Then came the day i didnt know existed
Den satte verkligen kanalen ur balans = It really put the channel out of balance
Jag trodde aldrig att jag hade så fel. = I never thought i could be so wrong
Men när Anna skrev och sa. = But when anna wrote and said:

Jag är ingen bot. = I am no bot
Jag är en väldigt, väldigt vacker tjej. = I am a very, very beautiful girl
Som nu tyvärr är väldigt främmande för mig. = and thats unfortounatly very different(help!, cant find this word) for me
Men det finns inget som behöver förklaras. = But there is nothing that needs to be explained
För i mina ögon är hon alltid en bot. = Cuz in my eyes she'll always be a bot

and then we go to the first part.
Stay tuned to NAR forum for the second part in the award winning series "swedish for dummies", when Killahead will explain verbs and sustantives while Noob1234 takes on the matter of "an, or a".

For now, happy holydays children - study hard and may santa visit you (and since everyone knows santa lives in northen sweden, not so far from Kiruna, this is a good language to know)!!:

Yeah this pretty much goes for everywhere I think.

The problem is that peole (and when I say people I unfortunately have to include myself  provided there has been a healthy dose of vodka-redbull involved 8) ) will dance to, and dig, whatever the DJ is playing... And for some odd reason, instead of picking some brutal track from Chemical Brothers or similar, the DJs will play that!
Som nu tyvärr är väldigt främmande för mig.
I believe he is trying to say somthing along the lines of:
Which unfortunately happens to be very alien to me.
...eh I think

Damn it!! I never thought of the lyrics up until now!
Damn you kaffe!!!

That song makes me proud to be a Canadian..(sniff)....
LOL here translate our alma matter.......
Beer,Beer,PAss the Beer.
Get those blonde wenches over here.
Crank the tunes and bang your head.
Tonight you will not need a bed.
A caring touch, a warm caress .
and then you get sick on her dress.
Slapped in the face you hit the ground.
Hoping your friends are not around.
To the beer cooler you will go.
Swaying and singing to and fro.
A few more beers.a final face plant.
To lift your face, you find you can't.
And here it is ,your night will end.
You will wake in the morning to do it all again.

After seeing the translation of the Swedish song.I am convinced that Sweden by far had the best pot(weed..mari jane...mary ju wanna)and the best booze in the world. How the hell else could they have written that song.LOL.
We in B.C.bow before you oh mighty ones...hahahahaha...
Anna......bot......hmmmm sounds like maybe its....Bananas......pot.....
Thats a better translation...just substitute the words...makes more sense that way..."I knew a bot named Anna"...hmmm my translation"I smoked some pot and ate some Bananas"Now doesn't that make perfect sense....I did that this morning as a matter of fact.....

Carrera's comment reminded me of an actual song by the Dayglo Abortions called, appropriately enough, "Proud to be a Canadian". The song is actually good (heck, that whole album from Dayglo is a real classic).

Here's a link to the lyrics and a link to the actual song (legal, from the band's own (old) site).

we dont smoke pot up here, we drink a LOT of vodka instead...and beer, this weak lousy shabby shittish poor excuse for beer called heinikken and falcon (and even norrlands). Then on occation we buy a Kilkenny or chamay and enjoy a nice tasting beer for a insanely high price. and while drunk, we occationally record songs about girls named anna on our computer all alone at home... we also like forming bands with weird names such as (for example) tumbleweedtown to exersice our growing abstinence of country in these boten anna disco mania times. In our spare time we chase polar bears, sleep with beautiful blonde girls, play cs, or watch marcus allbäck miss scoring for our soccer team in all possible ways. We also like watching american fotball 2.15 in the morning and try to figure out the rules, and so far... no, no one has. although i think i am fairly close now, im getting the hang of it...still cant figure out if you have to run a certain amount of yards to get more attempts, or you have until the time runs out, or what the hell is happening. But dear europeans, fear not, i am close to solving this mystery now, so hang on for an update on this issue. btw i saw (live) a guy setting a NFL record for most points scored in one season yesterday. yes yes, i am very sofisticated and educated and interessed of the rest of the world. too bad i know sow much about europe and asia, otherwise i could have applied for president of the USA. but i would clearly be overqualified in this area, ive also heard you have to be born in the US to apply but i think arnold will find a way around that.

Holy Smokes KAffemaskin,
I have some bad news for ya buddy.Once you learn the rules of football.American football and Canadian football are 2 different things.
different rules. The noticable difference right away is how many chances(downs)you get to reach the other side.American football allows 4 chances.,Canadian football only allows 3 chances. As for the smoking and drinking...simple...I quit drinking for 12 years.I started again 3 years ago.
Pot smoking well...I quit smoking that in july 2003 and started again in well....whenever we did the monaco grand prix in NAR 2006....and I've been smiling ever since.Unfortunately I may have to quit again in Spring as I will have enough money for the new Ninja...and I will not be smoking and drinking after that.I think that Ninja will be my fix(and NAr racing)next season.P.S.Just put full leathers and a toy shotgun and sunglasses in Arnolds hands and every American will vote for him...LOL....

Ho Kaffe, try Hockey now, will be easyer, NHL have same rules for american as canadian,. 5 player + 1 goaler vs other 5+1 skating to put that litlle puck in the other side goal (as for the puck, dont think the puck is smooth, its hard like a brick!). But you may get lost about the blue and red line on the ice, muahahaha, none is an easy one. If your lucky, youl get some 'ultimate fighting' in an hockey game. Fight are punishable, but still tolerate for the show sometime, hahaha.

Good luck about NFL, but to make you  my wife can explain you how the footballs rules works and Hockey also   so its not that complicated then... (shuttt)

kaffe, you just lost a friend.....pissing on my favorite Heineken beer and even spelling it incorrect. Here in holland i think we penalize this behaviour with a deathsentence.....

haha the spelling was on purpose klaaz, its a joke me and my friends have :) and i have some funny stories about this "bright" (dunno) beer, that we have up here.

And btw, this you may not know, i did a project in high school about beer, and these beers are made not to taste good but to have a consistant production so every bottle will taste the same ;), whilst the fine irish and czech beer is made purely for the taste. mmmm beeer

and flow  , we won the olympics and world cup last year in hockey so this sport actually makes sense :)
i belive canada finished second in the worlds, hehe nice to finally beat you, and third in the olympics if im not forgetting here :P . the canadian name of the game is :
1. Dump the buck behind the goal line
2. Forza down and try to keep it in the zone
3. Take out Forsberg
4. Take out Forsberg
5. Take out Forsberg
8) 8) :D :x
edited the czech spelling and the canaidan name of the game hehe
