Hitman post to admin that he wont be there tongiht. But we may see Merc in race, since he was even there earlier today to get ready for tonight, unless at last minutes he cant make it.

a mess at T1, lost both wings, car shot

Wow what a race. I was alone all the way, with only friend my chronos seperating me from Carrera, withc i had no visual contact for all race, but i was pushing so hard to keep up in his ass. A second position is excellent, i was expecting a top 3.

Brad, you did a villneuve at eaurouge, lol from what i saw (didnt watch replay yet) but you were dam too close in Carrera ass, i think you were only few feet behind him, i was going down the hill and sying exactly this : Dam hes going to kill himself i was thinking that no way you would keep grip in that situation, and BANG! you went straight in wall Lost an oponent too easy there. From there, i was driving and loosing few .sec eatch lap behind Carrera... not bad i complete around 21sec in 2nd position.

2 things made me loose a complete 7 sec... one drop of fps to 4, lost 1 sec and a bad drop to 2, making me driver 100 meter with 4 frame, after screen went ok, i lost 6 sec, dam im at least happy to not crash on that.

Cant wait to race next one!

Congratulation all, to all laped guys who opened the way clean eatch time. Was a fun race!

Overall I'm very happy to walk out of here with a podium. I only practiced 2 days and never really had a great setup. After lap 1 I found myself running in 3rd with merc behind me. That's where I was for the whole race. I knew I had nothing at all for flow so I just ran a pace based on whoever was behind me at the time. The only real mistake I made was getting on the brakes at the end of the straight to let carrera by. Sorry m8 I hope i didn't give ya a heart attack. That was my only real brain fade. Althought the last 12 laps or so I was getting real tired and my vision was getting a little blury. But was able to hang on. See ya at China.

i was way to close to carreras ass, i was trying to get a run into eau rouge, but i didnt get it and should have backed off. i really thought i had a chance, i was on 2 stop, but could do mid 47s 2 laps into the stint. damnit damnit damnit, what the hell was i thinking? i know not to stay that close.

as carrera once said to me:
"toyota driver dies, news at 11"

not a good race, but not a bad race. i was alone most of it. glad to finsh 5

I qualified 6th, much higher than i expected mainly due to Bilbo not being in the field and Juan blowing up.

Race start went great, I avoided any messes and gained 2 spots, went down hill in 4th place and was holding my ground if not gaining, I was fast in the first sector. Got to the top of the hill passed the smoke and carnage from Brads crash and suddenly I'm in third with Steve B behind me, totally new situation for me. After fighting the sudden urge to purge, I concentrated on just getting through the 2nd sector where I knew I was 3 seconds slower than flow and Carrera but approx the same as Steve. I got past the second sector mark alive, clipped the right side curb like usual had a minor brain fade and went wide on exit and hit the left curb and boom into wall hard, lost rear wing damaged suspension etc...
Limped to pits but car was pooched. I hit the ESC key almost as hard as the wall.

A good race but not for all i see.
My first mistake was braking too early at the first corner.Brad was on the outside and I was trying to hug the wall so we didn't touch.We blasted off together and headed into eau rouge.Even though Brad was right on my ass.He pitched too far left in the first corner and had to pull hard right for the next one.He just lost the backend when he needed it most .I looked in my rear view to see a flying Toyota.I think my exact words were"holy fucking shit".At the same time I felt bad for Brad because he was the same speed as me in race trim.I was expecting him to pass me after eau rouge but it never happened.sorry m8.Flow.Holy smokes.Pushing,pushing,pushing all the way for an hour and a half.I had no choice but to push as well.I wasn't driving very smooth and my tires paid the price at the end of the stint.After I settled into my second stint my tires were fine till the next pitstop.I almost got a speeding fine due to my carelessness but I was lucky this time.Thanx to Quebec Mike and all the others who so graciously moved over,and no problem aaron,I am always alert..LOL....I'll see you guys in China.Great race all.

lol, i dont know if anyone here has seen the will farrell movie talladega nights, but after seeing that my exact words were "im flying through the air upside down, this cant be good" and it wasnt. i think im probably fired from team toyota at this point, something about never finishing a race and costing to much money in broken cars, so much potential after last year, blah blah blah

i should probably go back to having sex before races instead of smoking out

(duno if my wife heard me said it, lol) and 1 sec later up the hill, i heard that Bang, and all i was looking for, is that if your car was going to bounce back to get me, lol Fiou, didnt happend!

nope, i almost went out of the track, but i landed on the barrier.
