No Aids Racing

Hello Guys
Do's anyone here have and use Zone alarm security suite.
I have used Norton system for many years now and my subscription ran out. Not that I have not been happy with Norton Just thought I could save a little get something better and try something new.

I downloaded the 15 day trial of Zone Alarm.
Seems ok installed fine and is running good from what I can tell.
Only prob I have is and even thou I manuely and automaticly gave all permision to Rfactor it still opens to the first screen and just hangs there.
If I shut down Zone alarm RF starts right up no problem.

Anyone else have this going on or any advice.
It is like Z-A is taking to long to scan or what ever.

I've been using the free zone alarm firewall for a few years Ruben, works fine for me, just have to allow whatever you want to have access, and it works like a charm

RaceCast was down for most of today, that could be your problem too, depending on when your problem happened. RaceCast is back now (and my dedi server too).

small tip for when matchmaking is down, and youre game also wont start up.

If you desperate to do some laps, then disconect youre internet and open rF

Thnx to patrick he came up with this idea, i didnt know about it.

was post earlier in another thread, but i think RC post a fix to alow you to open and your game will open with or with connection problem. You only wont see server if its down.

Well I gave RF full trust and Access in the firewall.
And I opened the tcp & udp ports the same ones I have opened in my router but it still hangs with zone alarm running.

I have not tried other games yet but I will.

I am behind a router but if I don't have a good protection.
I get all those popups cookies and all that crap.

So maybe I will just try zone alarms free firewall and see how that goes.
