Fun races during break

How about sone "just for fun" sprint races with something different than F1?
Maybe the McLaren mod, or the Meganes, Protons, Howstons all souped up?
what do you say fellas???
Maybe do 10 lap races at several diff tracks, quick 1 lap qualy, quick race, then off to the next track
i suggest using the stock tracks to avoud any mismatches, to keep it flowing smoothly

I would be in and sounds like a blast.
any of the mods sounds good to me, I think it was Flow who also thought a fixed setup for all would be good. I aggree why waste time on a setup when we could just get in and race.
I think the protons would be a blast. I tried it a little bit but seems to be a good mod.
So when and where is the question and who else is coming

the money was in italy yesterday and today the guy send my wheel ... I hope I will have it till the weekend (AND KIDs FREE!!!)
would be nice if you dudes show up ... maybe I also have a new track for test

Yeah, this is what i was thinking since few weeks for summer :
Mod : Basic car mod of rfactor, just to make shure all have car and no need to get any new mod. But fun and workable mod can be suggest.
When : On sunday, around 2pm for NA and 8pm for Euro would be a great idea to alow NA and Euro to race togheter. It can be set on eatch weekend.
Where : Any basic track of rfactor. Unless any mod is drivable on NAR F1 track.
Server : i suggest no practice session, just qualification of 10 minutes, Practice session is same as qualif, no limit of lap. Race lenght shoud not be too high, like 10 laps? Use 3 tracks that fits the mod. I suggest a rotation of maximum of 3 track untill all are tired of race. Damage should be set lower enough to try to keep every body on track for the lenght of race, suggest around 40%
Setup : I suggest fix setup, so no need to practice, just hadle car best you can, learn little track and you on your way.
Note : Actualy, the next 2 weekend, i cant driver, il be away from home. so im shure im not in same situation, alot wont be able to race, so If we use basic mod and track, even public driver can join if not alot of NAR join server. Some basic mod of rf are able to handle almost more than 20-30 car, Weuheuou,lol.
Resume of suggestion :
Basic mod (or good suggestion of, with link, nothing too weird
)
10 min of qualif
10 laps of race
Rotation of 3 basic track
Damage 40%
Fix setup
Eatch 1 or 2 sunday at 2pm EST (8pmCET)
Alow public to join (serve named : NAR fun event)
Any have any suggestion or opinion?

Sorry for me, but i need to do my USA and CANADA replay watching, and this weekend im out of town. Next sunday il be out of city also for 1 day. So im sorry, i cant help in organization of an event for now. On the 3 next weekend, il be able to organized or help for fun event after that.
Steve, if you want to try it out wiht that mod, make an official call to any who want to do it. But im shure that if you use basic mod, little more may show up. And anounce it enouhg soon. I think that few FSR driver wont be there also, racing on 2 next weekend...

I just finished my reviewing for the Canada race. I'll try to setup my server tomorrow evening. Please tell me which tracks you'd like to race on (only the stock rF tracks and the official NAR tracks are installed on the server) and whatever is needed in addition of the mod itself (setups if they are to be fixed?), so I can install and configure everything correctly as it's uncertain I'll be around much to look things over if there's a problem...

i say we just run the stock tracks, to avoid any hassle with mismatches. And IF we all have the Lienz festival add on, that would be a blast in these cars

Msut say that lienz track is pretty cool to ride.
