I remember reading about it at another site (probably SimHQ) where they had a "hands-on" session at E3 and they said it was not the final version and that they would look at adding more buttons. Will they do it and how many buttons will there be is anyone's guess though...

Hello
Yes saw this wheel at another site also not sure if it would be confetable.
Looks ok but I am not a fan of round wheels I prefer a half wheel or D shaped.
As for buttons yes more buttons on the wheel is a must have at least for me.
Not sure if this comes with it but they are showing a shifter with buttons on it that is nice for other sims but not A F1 sim.
Also would like to see and here more about the peddles have not seen anything on them.
Also $300.00 dollars sounds high to me.
I guess it depends how good it has been made I have tried and used Loctech hardware and I have not been inpressed.

Yeah I saw it a few weeks ago. It doesn't have enough buttons but I'm going to need a new wheel soon so this seems like the best option in the price range.

To be honest , until my Black Momo bites the dust, i won't even consider buying a new wheel, it has plenty of buttons for me, and so far < had it 2 years > it has worked flawlessly, unless you count failed pedals, lol, but i replaced them with Act Labs pedals, < which have a clutch pedal > and am very happy with the set up

Hello
I with Steve except I have the MSFF W/BRD peddles and I am very happy with it.
I have tried other wheels my first whell was the logic wing extreame (Something like that but it did not last a year.
I got the MSFF and had problems with the peddle springs and the centering
censor but I have that figured out now and have been very happy.
I tried the Black momo when I had a problem with the MSFF I did one race with it and took it back.
Not so much the handleing or product wise but the wheel itself is to big around and my hands got very tired and it is a very hard rubber and just was not confertable for me.
But like they say we all have our own taste and so we try things untill we find the right one.
But the better wheels BRD & Thomas are very expensive although one day I just might bite the bullet and get a Thomas or a BRD.
Again one or the other is missing something I want or need.
Both in my oppiuion do not have enough buttons and or the right wheel.

Well actully I don't use FF anymore well I have it really low just enought to feel the curbs and road but not enough to throw my line off.
Try it Steve you will find that you will be more accurate and consistent.
I know it is fun to have it on at full but try Medium or low.
A few of the fast guys told me to try it one that sticks to mind among many is Craig AkA ForthRight.

I'll have to agree with Hitman on that one.I have my wheel force feedback at low.Actually I have one of each..A Black momo and a microsoft ff as well.I had to fix the momo pedals myself with foam to hold the pots in place.I had to get new pedals for my microsoft after 2 years.Still with a few alterations to the pedals on both the momo and micro.FF.Both have a couple of years in them easy. The most comfortable though by far is the Microsoft.FF.You have to extend your fingers out to click the momo shifters whereas the Micro.FF.uses buttons built into the back of the steering wheel..A big plus if you ask me.

I've had Red Momo (Momo Force) for like 6 years now. Had to replace one spring for the gas pedal and had spiking problem with it but all fixed. Still works like a charm but one thing has always annoyed me: there are only six buttons and I've driven with no aids for a long time six buttons have always been too few, so I've had compensated by using keyboard for like speed limiter (L) and used space bar for launch control in '05 season. So unless Logitech do some radical changes and add minimum 4 buttons more that wheel is already not on my shopping list.
Hope you are all doing fine

Miss you guys.

Sadly the gears in my red momo wheel just stripped. I was hoping I would make it till this new wheel came out. Not good timing since the race is this weekend.

I guess I'll have to try and find one of those junky black momos. I'm really hard on paddle shifters so I know they won't last long. Missing the USGP the last two years isn't helping me any either.

@aawil:
that's sad darling! ... be sure noone feel's with you like I do!
I get allways told I should have learned by now HOW NOT TO BRAKE A WHEEL!
My answer usually is "that would be nothing special

"
and hell ... I still have the original wheel in my car ... so what?
@ jeff:
thx for your offer ... p&p from uk to germany will be 35 pound! I have been talking to a guy who had the same wheel than you and he also said ... by the chances this wheel has in my hands all in all it is it not worth to pay just the p&p for it.
thank you for your offer jeff ... but I think it will be best if you get it on ebay and some pound for it
at last you caused that I am definitly going to get me a used wheel now. decission is done and now I go for it!
searching for thrustmaster f1 ff's (not ffs

) all over euro ... found 3 allrdy that would it be worth to bid on ... I hope dp will have the time to check the dutch link I got. p&p from italy to germany 25 euro (that's allrdy much better) ... but the guy thinks because he only used it 2 times it would still be 100 euro worth it

... I told him it makes no difference for me! with luck 3 month and it's done!
JOKE&TRUTH:
I just wonder why the "good-wheel-companies" do not give me THEIR wheels to test ... I mean ... sentenses like >it will be good for at least 5 years ... or 4ever< I heard from all who told me allrdy how many years they use their wheels!
I start to believe they do not trust in their own stuff for let it go through a hardcore-meo-test
MY OPINION:
Hell I am going to save my money for get me hardware that is as expensive as other ppl pay for used cars!
BRD wheel and pedals..... about 1700 euro
VPP wheel and pedals...... about 1200 euro
and all information I get from everywhere is making me sure that the support is definitly not the one it should be for stuff that is THAT EXPENSIVE!
TIP ... check internet on your continent for a wheel (with good conditions) you are used to and quiet good with on track until a good solution is to see!
... keep on searching!
... have a nice day! ... have fun! ... I DO !!!
