No Aids Racing

here are my newest toys, of corse they are tools! im about to start my first 4 stroke engine rebuild, ive rebuilt 2 stroke racing engines before for karts(yamaha kt100, and ive got to play with a tz250 ex-motogp engine, that was sweet!) anyways, this is for my toyota 4runner, im creating a hybrid engine. i will be using parts from 3 different toyota engines, all from the same family. 3vze+3vzfe+5vzfe. the goal is to be able to adapt the dohc cylinder heads from the 3vzfe engine onto the 3vze engine(which is the current sohc engine in the 4runner, but basically same engine block) bore the block to accept the 5vzfe pistons, and ill have a 3.4liter dohc V6 that bolts directly into my 4runner. the hardest part will be wiring, adapting the 3vzfe computer to my wirring harness. (cannot use the 5vzfe computer as its obd2, and i dont want that!) anyways, thought id share what im about to start with everyone, im going to make a build-up thread on yotatech, a toyota truck forum. my hope is that if i can make it work, to offer kits for others that would like to do this to their engines, all toyotas with the 3vze are slowly dieing, its unfortunatly one of toyotas bad engine designs, and it still will make it about 250k miles before rebuild! anyways, heres the pics of my newest toys:) btw, first pic center is my Mitutoyo Dial Bore Gauge set, used for checking cylinder bores for taper and roundness, and for checking main/rod bearing bores. the other new thing is the Dial Indicator directly to the left.

Ahhh so your a Toyota nut like my brother.He rebuilds them and knows which engine is which as well.I am not sure if he has that many fancy tools of course but I'm sure they cost a pretty penny.He's been building Toyotas since he was sixteen years old and still gets a twinkle in his eye when he starts talking about them.As much as I like Toyotas .I have been a suzuki fan most of my life.Mostly bikes of course but cars as well.

yea, im a toyota nut. currently at the house: my mr2 and 4runner, my roomate/business partner has a tundra!(and he just got a infinity g20, everyone non-usa might know it as a nissan primera,so its almost a used car lot in my driveway!) yea the tools are kinda expensive, i got them all used on ebay so i saved alot. new its about 1200 us dollar worth, but used i think total was about 350-400. only reason i have the precision stuff(besides to make myself feel good) is for the engine building, gotta be precise when blueprinting engines! i think your brother and i would get along well, toyota nuts tend to stick together! i do like suzuki bikes, ridden a couple of gsxrs from various years, loved them. if i get another bike, it will probably be for racing, but if not, them im thinking gsxr600, or yamaha r6. i really want an aprilia rs250, so i can start road racing bikes!

I always used to hate macs but recently realized how much better they actually are. OSX is far ahead of windows. Oh and the screen is a 20" widescreen.

Mac always been simple, push the mouse and click, friendly user. Mac always had the mouse, The way windows work with desktop, folder, trash can, is based on Mac OS systeme.

I work on mac every day, and i use my PC only for gaming. I cant do the oposite, game are not realy built for PC (only few of them) and i never have problem of Vidcard, Motherboard and Powesuply like on my PC.

Try one Hitman, youl love it, but dont replace you PC by a MAC, but having both, dam its good and fun to use.

Well in truth I do not hate Mac's. A couple of friends have them so I have tried them and also have worked on them.
I do how ever have a couple of problems with them.
1. when they crash (Not very often but they do) they crash 100%
So if you have make sure you back up daily becuase they give no warning what so ever they just crash.

At least with a PC you have a little warning when things are going bad.

2. They are very hardware dependent and you can not just find upgrades or parts just anyware. And when you do it is ussully douple the price.
Don't know why it is the same crap like everything else.

3. There are not alot of programs/apps for mac's such as
Edducational Science building apps and the ones there are they are very expensive.

Ok thats just a couple of problems I have with Macs.

Besides I would own one but I would have to leave the state that way my Brother who really hate mac's do's not kill me.

Your brother is jalous of Mac muahaha shure Hitman, just prey it doesent crash, you point are still real. You can find a Pc dealer at eatch corner, but not for Mac. Authorized dealer are limited. Hopefully with the merge of Intel on Mac will make more place to repair it.

By the way, i heard that Intel is working on computer, Mac or Pc i dont know, but we can expect computer able to use 8G of RAM and even 16G of RAM... estimation are to come out around end of 2006.

Only with New Intel in MAC, those little imac are same capacity (even faster in some application) than the Big G5. This is probably what Aaron bought : http://www.apple.com/imac/

I read in a magazine (a Sept 2005 issue I believe) that some mother boards out there already supported 16 Gb's of RAM.

I think Macs are a bit more user friendly, and a bit more safe (does OSX even have and anti-virus programs?!) and I also think they are a bit more reliable. There are at least 3 borken computer in my class at any day in the week. (all windows based)

Actually they have XP running on these intel macs now. I haven't tried it yet though. The only hang up is a good driver for the video on the imacs.

Uhhh, I fail to see the point of having a Mac to run XP on it...
