Very nice site! I do very much like it's technical.
On the engine part here is an interesting detail:
- In order to exploit the available power in an optimum fashion, Renault will use a 7-speed gearbox for the first time.
Aaand if you ABSOLUTELY insist to have it in french, here you go:
- Nouvelle boite de vitesses 7 rapports contre les 6 utilisés jusqu'à présent afin d’optimiser la puissance et le couple moteur minimisés par les contraintes règlementaires.

Wow. No wonder M Schumacher is looking at Renault as the main rival for '06 season since R26 is very reliable and fast:
The R26 ran for the first time in Jerez, Spain on 10 January, and has since completed over 2700 km in the hands of both race drivers. Initial indications on both performance and reliability have been very encouraging.
248 F1 was launched and tested only a week ago and has barely been tested on track.

Actualy, Renault said that theyr closest competitor are up to now (from winter test) Honda and Ferrari...

Thats renault comment.
Edited: was Alonzo comment, he said those 3 team : Renault is the best, after them, Ferrari and Honda...
