Formula One will have 11 teams this season after Super Aguri were confirmed as a new entrant by the sport's governing body on Thursday.

Finally Super Aguri has entered the 2006 season! It will be a s***** car to begin with but who cares. They will get along as fast as possible. If all goes well their 2006 car will be introduced for the Spain GP .
The FIA has confirmed that Super Aguri F1 has gone through the necessary process for a late entry in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship and will be allowed to compete against the 10 existing teams. It will be the first new team for several years. The team will start the year with updated Arrows chassis dating back to 2002 but intends to have its own cars prepared in time for the start of the European season. A number of drivers have been mentioned as possible candidates alongside Takuma Sato with Yuji Ide, Sakon Yamamoto and Roger Yasukawa all said to be in the picture.
