5 out of 9 drivers finished, cool, congratulation to all, its not an easy tack, even if it seem almost a straight track, deadly corner...

im glad to see that Div2 was croudy tonight, keep it up, its fun!

The website has been updated with this weekend's results.

Flow has added the newcomers too.

There's a display bug in the div1 championship (column not wide enough), this will be fixed this week.

About my race, well, I started from pole, which I had thought long about before finally going for it (thought about not qualifying and starting from the end to save a probable crash at T1).

At the start, launched correctly but braked a bit early for T1 and saw Juan accelerating to go for the opening but he did not make the turn. I managed to not get hit entering T1 but got hit sideways by Juan who wanted to get out of the way of the oncoming horde (I think). After the resulting spin which put me dead last, I managed to climb back to 1st after a few laps, and went like that for the remaining of the race (even stayed in front for my 1st pitstop). After that, it was mostly just making it to the end and going around the slower cars.

I had a few scares, notably when trying to pass Mike entering Ascari, I thought he was letting me pass on the inside but then I lost sight of him and was unsure if he was actually letting me pass so I did my best to hold on to the inside and not hit him but I spun myself doing that. At another time, I tried to pass F1motion out of Lesmo 2 where he was wide and slow (compared to me) so I decide to pass him on the right but just as I was almost beside him, he decided (presumably) to get out of the way by going right too. Since I was too close and fast to try to go to his left, I had to actually pass with 4 wheels in the grass but since it was on the straight (before the leftward kink), there was no harm done except for my heartbeat going through the roof. I had a few spins by myself near the end of the race, otherwise the div2 race would have been shorter than the div1 race!

Honorable mention to Xz for keeping the championship alive, to Juan for managing to hold the interval with me pretty steady for many laps when he was 2nd, and to most for letting me pass when lapped. I realize that the blue flags often come a bit early at this track but I thank you nonetheless. It's sad we lost so many drivers in the early laps...

i finished 4th, a very distant 4th, but 4th nonetheless, hehe, had a case of spin mania from about lap 15 to the end of the race, two rear wings lost, suspension damage for the last 10 laps or so, but i managed to limp home in the points

well mine is short and definately NOT sweet.

I was sharing PAUL'S connection everything seemed ok until BILBO switched to Qualify I was stuck in practice 3.
I joined in Warm up and was given the chance to Qualify(thank you guys)
was on a pretty good lap until I got to PARABOLICA and lost my concentration when I heard someone go out on track and lost it..:(

On to the RACE.....watching for the lights to go out, I released the LC and F1 Motion had no Motion.....lol I quickly got on the breaks and tried to avoid him and forgot to put it in N I stalled it about 1.5 metres off my grid spot......and just sat there in disbielief of what had just happened.....

BRING ON SPA!!!!!!

CONGRATS to Bilbo for the win and all who finished.......WELL DONE

I would have been pissed as It was I am pissed at throwing away 2nd place but man would I be upset if that happened on the grid.

Steve,Man I feel terrible about your qualify lap and what happened on the grid...I took my eye off the light for just a second to look to see if I was in 1st gear and just launched a half second late and that screwed your race...I feel like such a dumbshit!

Hehe F1motion, dont forget that we all need to have eye open to react on a .seconde... You shoud start faster, SteveB shoud have been prepared to avoid the front driver for any reason... lol  lol

Ive learn same, when i start or race, i always try to have an issue to avoid a non starting driver or avoid a too soon brake in my face. Im shure steeveB feel sad for his stalled, but imagine his feeling on crashing in your ass on grid, im shure i prefer the stalled version

We all have, or will all be involved in any kind of bad situation one day or another, lol that was your day

hehe have fun next race, "eau rouge" is a tuff curve/hill...muahaha

Hi Guys,

NP John,shit happens...lol

INDEED Flow I did feel bad for hitting John but it was more of a tap it wasn't a full blown hit because I had just released the LC and was hard on the breaks when I saw John wasn't moving.

As for being ready for a situation like that, well, the grid spots are so close together there that the reaction time would have had to be within milliseconds, I tried my best to avoid it, I guess when the lights went out and I saw everyone leaving their grid spots I didn't think twice.

No harm done IMO just a racing incident.
