strange momo not reconized by xp after move

again a problem with a momo, this time not the pedals.
after moving a few blocks away my neighbour reassembled his pc finding the MOMO usb did nit respond att all.
there seems to be nothing wrong on the inside and after plugging it to my pc still noting....
anyone formilliar with this problem? thx in advance
