For me the race was pretty much a nightmare that had a good ending.
Starting from pole position, I just did not think about it and braked for T1 as if I was coming in full speed (which I was definitely not since the start/finish line is kinda close to T1). Thank god, everybody managed to get around me, but I ended up spinning myself and backing the car in the wall, losing the rear wing and bending the suspension. I had to go all the way around the track at ridiculously slow speed to not damage the car anymore. When getting to the pits, I changed my pit strategy from a 3-stop strategy to a 1-stop strategy (2 in total), so I took 35 laps of fuel and prayed the tyres would cooperate a bit.
Being forced to drive cautiously because of the broken suspension, the tyres held up surprisingly well, bringing me to my single half-race pitstop and then to the end of the race. As I was getting increasingly used to the broken suspension, I started pushing a bit and managed to spin myself only a few times, with no damage. I also missed a few turns but overall, I was quite proud to make it to the end as I almost quit in lap 1 after my accident. In the end, I was even catching up to the leader and it would have been really close if we could have added an extra 5 laps to the race!
Congrats to Merc and Xz for finishing and thanks to all who showed up for the race.

Hmmm,
I have the feeling my brakes would have went as well as I was very hard on them.Of course it would have happened 2 laps from the end as is my luck here in canadian gp.Congrats to xz for the win...to Bilbo for some more points and to merc for getting some more points in the championship.Hopefully Steve didn't miss a beat and went to downloading porn right away as maybe thats what i should have done also..LOL...but instead I went GTR'ing...Man I got my priorities all messed up eh?

Like usualy I had a bad qualification start 5 on 6!

by spining and damaging is rear wing and also we learn that aftert the race he bend is suspension.
I pass koma, who hit the wall in corner 9. And steve who spin in the 'mur du quebec'.
After one lap i was second behind mercury and in front of mike.
I enjoyed the 9 or 10 laps that i give a lot of pressure to mercury until i spin in corner 7 and borke my rear wing... went to pit. like bilbo did I packed my car with a lot of fuel (around 35 laps) by the time i was changing my wing two guys decide to take advantage of my situation

So after my first pit stop I was third and steve fourth was getting on me very fast. after fiew laps he was near me and getting nervous i miss corner 8 and he pass me but in the hairpin i did nt have any space to avoid a little little little bump on him
I was not very proud of my self! I let him go because it was my fault ... and 2 laps later he miss corner 9 and broke his front wing... so he had to make a pit stop by that time i pass him and recover the third place.
After I begin a chasse on Mike, it took several laps to get close. I give him 3 or 4 laps of pressure and he spin at 'mur du quebec'.
40 sec behind the race leader mercury it was impossible that i can recover that time!!!!!
At lap 50 i made my second pit stop! and for no reason i was getting very fast on mercury, we learn after the race that he had brake failure... after a fantastic race ... i pass him in the senna's curves. Race are often cruel!
bilbo pass merc fiew lap later and he was getting on me very fast.... I was nervous to lost everything so i decided to slow down a bit ... BUT IT WAS TIME, THAT BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP RACE FINISH!!!!
But i have to say if the others did'nt have all the bad luck they had, i do not think i won that !!!
And i give two thumbs up to bilbo who made the race whit a bend suspension and almost win. (I knew I had to broke his leg when we meet him (me and flow) at the grand prix).

well a good race turned bad for me . going into the first corner im 3rd then bilbo spins, i follow steve thru and find myself in second. deja vue im thinking been here before. why is it in canda jags seem twice as wide ?. im on steves gear box like a doggy on a t-bone till we get to the hairpin then whoooosh steve is gone . shit i think to myself hes running low wing ill have to pass him in the twisty bits , then at the 100 meter board i see tire smoke steve has spun it in the last corner before main straight . i get by clean into the lead . now im the t-bone xzwins is now parked off my gearbox for the next 6 laps( his car is definatly faster) until he taps the wall. from there i make up to a 55 second lead till all goes to shit with 11 laps left i loose the brakes . i limp around the last 11 including a stop for a front wing . congrats to xz and bilbo was a fun race ...... merc
