Hey Meo
You do know it is a wheel to turn left and right with it is not a hammer. to build things with.

Wow that whell looks like you ran over it.
I know I wont be buying a thrustmaster anytime soon.

honey I just wanted to get the f1 car to fly again

... just kidding hehe!

well it doesn't look good atm!

at the first moment I thought damn he did it really good ... and I am sure he did but in game I have problems with it.

the car is steering a bit to the left and to the right by itself ... and when I steer it takes a while till the car in game does

I tried the newest driver ... choosed in the gamecontrol configuration for not the game to do the settings ... changed it again ... tried different wheel settings in game ... but I do not get it well to work

Now I decided my broken wheel I have here (the not repaired one) to use in the race on sunday ... did new pb in usa 1.11.345 after few laps ... shit I am sure with a new working wheel and a good practice I would be able for a 1.08-1.09.

THAT SUCKS!!!

and I still got no answer from BRD where I asked for test the new PRO V9 http://www.interactiveracing.com/Steeri ... ls/Speed7/. I do not want to buy another BRD now because I want a PRO V9 the options are very useful for r-factor I believe (even I still miss some there).

but who knows when it will be out ... and I need a fast solution in this point, because I still have to much to learn for really good NAR driving skills ... and I wanna be that good and I will be that good but not with all my wheel problems

... I WANT FUN!!!

look I drive 2-4 hours in the morning and 4-6 hours in the evening ... normally! actually it doesnt make that fun because I have to take care that the wheel will do the next race for sure!

just doing my laps atm to be stabil and constant on track.

no way to improve in my driving skills atm!

Loool at those pictures i can see that its excactly the same as what happend to me lol,... the crack looks indentical to what i had as well.

At the place where he puts those 2 aluminium strips i putted it full with some kind of hard plastic. SOme supper glue not sure mine dad brought it with and its actualy for wood lol but on plastic it worked also great.

Mine is rock steady after i fixxed it though i switch to brd later.

About youre problem with steering in center mode,... mayby you should try to play with the deadzone lock. try to lower it or higher it,... dont know at wich number its set on. for example if its set on 5% i had the same problem you steer and steer and steer and after a while the steer in the game starts to react,... if you make dead zone lock lower for axis it will react quicker... im driving with 2% now and it works great for me.

o.k. with the 2005 ff driver the old broke f1 I have here and the repaired one do not work well, so I did the 4.02 again which is better.

when I drive the gears low the car is mostly steering like I do. the faster I drive the car in game is steering much later than I do. but when the car in game starts to steer it does it as hard as I allready do at my wheel, so of course the car in game is steering much more than I would like to at this moment.

I go on with my testing ... but if someone has any other ideas how to solve the problem I would like to read a post or a mail from you.

I keep you informed.

... not really what I use to call fun! ;)

There's an in-game setting called "Speed sensitivity" or something like that. You may want to have it lower than it currently is...

no it did not work :(

so I decided to do full ff. this extreme setting should show me better what is wrong. I did not use ff any way in the past since I had the problem that a string in my hand got longer by test ff settings and my thump was allways jumping in and out.

but with ff on I see now that it will not just be done with some settings in the steering options.

when I steer with full ff it seams like the wheel is doing little jumps from part to part that are a bit more hard to pass. it is not an easy move from the left to the right. the hole table is moving in this little shocks.

even no ff settings change this!

no idea what it can be!

I am doing my german forum posts about it now and go to bed after!

... I hate it!

this race could really have been a good one this time!
