but then when we raced the first thing I realized was how retarded my stradegy was. I had 26 laps worth of fuel and was planning to stop 3 times....after I thought about it, I realized that the math doesn't work out. I should have had 20 laps of fuel. But I still managed to get a 1:15.6 in race trim(doesn't matter now, since I didn't finish). So, I decided to stop early and take on less fuel for next stop. Well, I lost front wing the lap before I pitted. So, I pitted and took less fuel...then things just got worse and worse.
I want to apoligize whole heartedly to Motorhead, who was defending his position, and I just got to close to him. I felt so bad about it, that I followed you in to the pits, cause I didn't want to finish ahead of you becuase of that. then when we both went out, I saw a car that had just spun on the road....unfortunately by the time you see someone at monaco...it's too late. And it was....so, bang!!!...I decided to give up then.

brad wrote:thats pretty much how my race went. started 2nd (had to keep up the toyota tradition for this year) finally figured out how to use launch control, but screw up at the start and didnt give full throttle, so motorhead got past me on the start. spun at t1 on lap 2, moved to last place, then went on a tear, passing as many as i could (i think flow missed a shift, or saw it was me and thought discretion is the better part of valor, lol) got to hitman, we ran about 4 laps together, then i got a run on him into t1, tried to pull the same move as i did on carrera, but hitman went in deep, so i tried to slow more, however i think he maybe went to deep, as he slowed up suddenly in the middle of t1 as i was getting on the gas, and i bumbed him into the wall losing his front wing(sorry dude) but, motorhead got me back about 5-6 laps later, as he spun coming out of the last turn, i came around, and as erick said, once you see someone, especially last turn as its blind........bam, lost my front wing and bent my suspension. i actually went most of the race with a bent suspension(again) and was doing ok, i actaully had the lead for a while, but i was off on my strategy now and would have to make 1 more pit, when i think motorhead and carrera were good to go to the end. about 2-3 laps from quit, the car just started sliding all over the place, i could barely control it, and slidings my specialty!! whew, the last 2-3laps for me were probably some of the hardest ive ever done!! finaly spun loosing rear wing, suspension was totaly jacked at the point, so i retired. im getting good at not finishing races.

Lol Brad for me you drove the invisible car, i never saw you in race, only your chrono, hehe
For me race went well conting the fact that i cross the finish line.
1st of all, i change for a 3 stop than a 2 just before red turn off. I though that Monaco race was not a race against other driver, but against me. I never tought i woud be ther at end. in general i made a cool race. 3rd is not bad, hehe.
i made 4 spins with no wall hit. then hit a wall in last curve neer pit. lost front wing. So i needed to get in pit 10 lap too soon, so decide to add fuel and go straig to the end with 23 lap to do, and mist calculated things, and went out with 40 laps of fuel on board. Do you know how heavy is that, lol i was 2 sec. slower. I was fighting to stay on same lead lap, but hit a wall on last lap and went lapped by Carrera.
Congratulaiton to the 5 driver who finished, to Motorhead for his win and to Carrera for finaly get some points. Cong Hitman and Aaron. All driver inlcuding me went so genltemen to let pass lapper cleanly. To bad Erick you didnt finish, you woud kik our ass till get red
Cya on next race.

Well,
I bet everyone is glad that track is overwith..hehehe...I ended up using the wrong setup in qualifying and struggled like hell to stay on the road.
That was fun in itself..ha...Now the race...The beggining went rather well.Aaron politely told me before hand that he would let me get through turn 1 first.Thank you for that move Aaron.I felt bad for Erick as he had some problems and politley bowed out of the race after clipping motorhead.I know Erick would have kicked ass again.Flow let me pass quite early and stayed with me settling into the race as well. All our strategies were quite different.Near the end Hitman was glued to my backwing and we cruised around the track together..LOL....it was a blast...I managed to get into first place after motorheads pitstop and brads lost wing and damaged suspension. In the last 20 laps or so Motorhead and I were about 5 seconds apart and he was closing in on me when I went and tried to change my lcd display to the tire screen.Well I spun right there and then and lost a wing.I managed to not damage my suspension and did a lap with no front wing...that was fun...LOL...woo hoooo...I then just cruised to the finish in second place...I totally forgot during race that tantra track screws up your fuel lap counter. You have to carry extra fuel to make it and I had to add extra 15 litres at the last pitstop...whew...good thing i remembered last years race...in conclusion:everyone ran a clean race...gentlemen not boneheads...hehehe..everyone made room for the leaders and Aaron finished this year...cool...congrats to motorhead for a much deserved victory and congrats to everone for a clean race on one of the worst tracks for crashes...excellent driving...see you at europe

Wow!!!!
First congrates to all who finished.
A speicial Congrates to MoterHead for a great race after such a long time off. And to do @ Monaco makes it that much more Impressive.
Well I am with Carrera on this I am glad it is over.
My race went from bad to worse after the Acc with Brad. (No Worrys Brad
its done its over with)

In any case my car was crap after that everytime I touched the brake it would pull to the left. Not that would be fine except for Monacohas mostly right hand turns.

Well I changed the brake Bias to the rear and that was better but not great. Beleaive me I had my finger on the ESC key more then once. The Track and Car fought me every step of the way.

The Best time I had was when I was following Carr for a few laps that was fun. But I backed off since I was in no position and did not want to ruin his race.
Still Carr that was fun.
Glad I finished Glad it is over.

Well good for you Hitman you stayed in race even with a damage car. Your patience got you few point, and maybe on day, those few points will pay you back

I woud do same, except if i woud be too dangerous to others.
