Thinking about new wheel

Hello guys
I am looking at upgradeing my MS FF wheel to a TSW wheel.
http://www.thomas-superwheel.com/index.html
I know they are a little pricey  you can spend from 500.00 to 1000.00 dollars on this wheel.
It is hand built and and it is made to last and take the punishment.
Does any one here have one and what do you guys think of this wheel.
Of course there will be some modding to do for it to work on my Cockpit and some buttons will have to be added.

And there is no FF and thats ok with me I don't use it anymore.

any help or advise would help

Hello
Thanks Steve I will contact him and see if he responds.

I have really been checking this Wheel out and do some comparing and all in all the only thing I can find that might come close mightbe BRD but I really do not like the look or the way it attatchs to the Desk/Cockpit.

The TSW is guranteed for life Excludeing the POTs of course. From what I have seen and read this wheel is made very well. If it is not the very best in the world right now.

I will do somemore comparisen before I buy. Speaking of that they have a full money back gurantee if not happy with in 30 days of purchase.

No im serious m8

After a month i already got pedal problems, besides that they are verry very though springs init......

And the steer itselfs has a problem as wel,.. when you steer it takes a while when youre game wheel starts to steer,.......

Trust me, spend youre money for a different steer then this m8,... and when you going to complain after 3 months hehe then i slam you cause i warned you.

I used this steer for about 3 months and then i was sick of it and bought the same steer back as i had before i switched.

Hey hitman dont know if you are considering the BRD wheels, though i believe its in the same money range as the TSW. They way its atached is a bit strange yes, though it has to holes in the plate so you can bold it on the desktop. This is the way i atached it on mine race machine

Hello Dutch
Now that looks like a good setup. And I like that wheel.
A couple of ?
1. What model is that (Idid not see it on there site)
2. Is that a complete set (Wheel & Peddles) or did you have to buy seperatly.
3. Can you give me the measurement How long is the steering shaft from the back of the wheel to the end of the shaft where you bolt it.

Thank you in advance.

Hey it are 2 seperate devices.

The steer is Show V2
And the pedals are the speed7 pedals

The fun part is the speed7 pedals are compatible with several different steerings like the momo logitech thrustmaster etc.... ill take a look if i can find that list back.

This means when for example you use logitech sidewinder and you get pedal problems you can buy this speed7 and atach it and use that pedal  . Just an example

The tube is about 25 cm from the back of the shifters to the end of the tude and the holes for the bolts are at 20cm,...

Hello Dutch
Thanks for the info.
I could not find the pacage you have at least they don't sell it like that.
I am going to send them a E-Mail and see but it looks like I would have to buy the package you have (V6 something) that has the wheel with two buttons and also buy the show wheel (the one you have) sepretly at a attitional cost. I don't like the stock wheel and it only has 2 buttons and that is not enough for F1 racing at least not for me.
I need at least for Clutch, Pit request, Pit Limiter and one for the display screen on the wheel.
I will see if I can get more info from BRD on this Package I like the way they inset the bottons right in the wheel it self. I also like there peddles.

I heard back from MJC540 (Manny)
First he asked that I give his best regards and say Hello to all at NAR.
He is Carting every sunday and is to busy to race with us but still miss it.

But what he said about the TSW was all great He uses it so much that his hands indentations are in the wheel and the only thing that he had a problem with in all this time was the wiring harness and he sent it back they upgraded the wiring harness and sent it back No charge and with in 5 days Life time Gurantee. :D
He went on to say that even with all the use it is still like brand new he can not say enough about this wheel.

So I am not in a hurry my current Wheel and peddles are still working although not as good when they where new I can stil do some more research.
Thanks
