Another twist of fate,
Looks like I will be racing after all this weekend. Our only route to vancouver is cut off.The Frazer Canyon is closed and will probably open soon but that means I have to postpone the trip till next weekend...So I am racing.I may be the only one as Boon is going north to see his father this weekend, but I have been practising a bit so I can stay on the track(hopefully)..LOL..I look forward to another door banger this weekend..wuuu huuuuu..see you on track fellow racers.

Klaaz Server

Post by Ruben Miranda »

Hello

Flow
Klaaz has allowed us to use his server (It is not mine) I do have access to restart it and put in the tracks & Mod we need.
The server has been up for 24/7 as much as I can tell unless something crashed or what ever but I have not seen that as of yet.

? You did update RF to the 1255F patch right if not that might be the problem.

other wise (Although I do not remember right now) there was a adjustment in the PLR file that needed to be done that would allow to show all servers at once try refreshing the server list that might be the problem.

I am going to go there now for a little while see if you can get in.

Server reboot

Post by Ruben Miranda »

Hello

 I went to racecast and it is down
I looked at the RF server list and could not see the server
So Klaaz did a reboot and now it is shown on rf server list and Relay.

there are a lot of servers on RF so it is a little hard to locate so relay is easier.
In RF I click mod names that way it is a little easier to find for me.

Thanks for the replay, Steve. The sound update does work perfectly (if you follow the instructions in the readme file, of course). It sounds like a much meaner machine now! 8)

Muahaha i was teasing you , i know you, you gave me the victory 2 years ago, when you were in 1st position, and while you pit in, you crash the entrance pit wall, and that gave me the win of race  thanks again

Well that certainly was a drag..LOL....
The cable modem was kicking out every 20 minutes and we'd have to reboot it.It kicked us out just before Qualifying and we tried another modem right away but it was not registered with shaw service so it wouldn't work either. So we were stuck and at that time Adam finally showed up(another racer who practises with us)just to find out he couldn't race...LOL...so we set up a dedicated server and did a mock race with the A.I.at 90 percent. It was just not the same.We would have had 10 people racing. My 8800GTS and g25 steering wheel were at my house so I was stuck with my 6800gt machine and my spare momo steering wheel.I am not racing without my g25 again I can assure you.We will have this fixed this week and will practise the next track.Lets rock and roll..muhahahaha....oh and thanx for trying to wait but we were still messing with it..very frustrating...
