No Aids Racing

Hello
I need some help
I downloaded the file (F1 car) And I put it in the right folders
D:\R Factor\rFactor MP Test\GameData\Vehicles\Hammer_F1
D:\R Factor\rFactor MP Test\GameData\Sounds\scg
But it is not working for me. I can not seem to select it in game.

Well sounds like you did everything right hitman.
You do realize that you cannot join another normal server with this car right?You have to create your own server in order to run it or have someone else running a server with the car in order to join in.

Well I kinda figured I would have to host or jion a server that has this car.
But I can't even chose this car or see it.
What I mean is that when in R factor and then click Custermize then click Veicle It is not there to chose from. The other 3 cars are there but that is it.
Here is what my folder looks like I little blurry but I think it can be made out ok.

On here back a couple of post Meo is talking about another download is that also has to be installed for this f1 car to work also.?

unzip the file you downloaded, then open it, there will be two folders, place the HammerF1 folder in the game data/vehicles folder
place the scg file in the game data/sounds folder

works like a charm for me m8, from the pic you posted, looks like you have the folders in the wrong place

here are screenies of where you need each folder and a screenie of the car chooser, choose Garo Racing Team

if you get a server to work with it and the car is really so good we should think about to do the rf event tomorrow with this car???

I see your point m8.
I installed it in the other computer and it doesn't give me the optional car either...??..I have tried everything and don't know yet why it is happening.
I just ran a room with the car in it and several people joined and ran 41 seconds with the car.I tried to join with the other p.c and it didn't give me the car either.I am working on it bro.The car is scary fast.would be great to get this sorted out tonite or sooner.I'll see what i can dig up m8.

Well I got it to work on my gaming pc.
I had to delete and reinstall before it worked.
but I think the problem lies it where we are putting it.
Example I have to hard drives so I always put my games and such on the slave D drive.
When i do installs I make a folder Rfactor (Example) and then install in there so what happens is I get D:Rfactor/multiytest bla blah blah LOL
But as soon as I installed it in D:\rFactor MP Test it worked no problem.
it should not make a diffrence and I am not sure if this is right.

I am going to install it in my 2nd pc now and test and see

i have a dedicated server for rfactor running now.
this f1 car is fast indeed, hard to reconize though

Well this F1 car mod is trully a pain in the ass to install.
Will work on one machine and not the other.PFFFF
I finaly got it to work on my dedicated machine even thow I did all the right stuff the only way it is reconized on my server is if I put it in the D:\rFactor MP Test\GameData\Vehicles\ZR folder and thats just wierd.

I even made a full copy of r factor with a working f1 car and installed it on my server and it still did not work. The only diffrence between both machines is the OP system my game machine is XP pro and the dedi server is Win Me I do not know why that would make any diffrence but that is the only thing I can think of.

I did run a couple of laps with the f1 and it is fast.
But the gears do not match very low gears and it sounds like it is going to blow up any sec. Is what you guys are getting. Or do I not have it set up right.

I just did the same thing on my server pc as i did on the gaming pc.
Hilarious thing was all other joiners came in with a pace car hahahaha
I cant remember laughing out that loud<my driving might not have been so nice for these other folks, but i couldnt help myself>
after a while we got to race with the pacecars too. got late again

its just f1c physiks converted if you ask me .
That shaking is a nice feature but on top speed its shaking to much if you ask me

For the rest i can only say that it drives like f1c.

I just did aprox 10 timed laps with the f1 and got a fastes of 40.8

Well I am not sure about the F1 C phisics I know it has a lot more tracktion the F1 c I do know that the sounds are Rh 03 for sure.

My self I won't be driving this car. It is fast but it is not realistic IMO

Dutch I hope you are not going to use this in our next Summer event.
You know I am pretty easy going on most things but if you guys want to use this mod I will have to bail out.
Of course my server is avaliable NP and I am more then happy to host as long as you want.

I did the same as you hitman.Installed an exact copy into my other machine and it still did not work.I thought that was kinda lame if you ask me.In all actuality I am just gettin tired of racing games in general.Buy this,Buy that and then you get tired of it in under a month.Thats one of the reasons I didn't buy LFS2.Hopefully Rfactor will revive the racing spirit.It may just be that I need a break for a couple of months.I will wait and see after this season is over.It may just be that I am getting bored with the computer in general.Seems like I would rather watch a movie or go mountain bike riding rather than turn on the damn machine...LOL...If all else fails though...there is increased amounts of beer as a good prescription..

Gas price is a real joke. I remember when I worked at a gas bar (10 to 20 years ago), customers were REALLY angry when the price was raised by a whole cent (prices were about 50-55 cents/liter at the time). Nowadays, it can climb by almost 15 cents per liter in a single day and nobody says anything...

Sad but true bilbo, i now get excited when i see it drop 10 cents a gallon, lol, although i know you canadians have been paying out the ass for gas much longer than us U S folks. I feel for ya

Yeah, $2.50 or higher per gallon here in NY, lol.
