1. Thank you FSR-guys!

Well I can't get really off the feeling to join your password-server (really I hate it hihi) was the reason for I missed the full grid races I worked so much for over the week, but I am sure the other guys had lots of fun on HC server. ;)

And I really had a great personally improvement in your races! It is such a wonderful feeling, even I am not the fastest racer on earth, once more to see that constant, hard and serious work incl. fairness, most possible fun passion, to trust in my raceheart, and the will to bring it to the end, pushed me finally to an impressive result in the table of this fun-e-sports-event!

Day 1:

Hell why am I allways so nervous when I join a new league server, where I have never been before lol. really senseless, there is no good reason for it and it only makes me driving to carefully. hihi well I can say (as usually :P) I finished all races :twisted:

1st and 3rd race I finished on 7th position. I just did my laps and had funny races there :) I don't remember exactly but if I am right there where 14 or 16 racer in the startgrid. So I am really happy with this result. could have done better but again I drove on the gras for those who laped me. most important for me was to finish the races because of this damn new server I was on and (hihi as I know it from our races) it started so early that kids where still jumping around me lol. was much better when they where sleeping later hehe. Sorry for Motorhead! I could not see how it happened. I only noticed that he was standing in pit and then he left the server and rejoined for the 2nd race. Would really have been usefull at this moment if we allready at that moment knew about that a kidlike restartscreaming would bring you in the points of the race again, like it was used at the 2nd day! :lol: Bad luck for you m8!

2nd race ... wow ... awesome ... as horrible as it was lol. Bad luck again at the start! mag got somehow to spin and crash a little and I could not pass him clearly ... me poor girl had the racer who finished the 1st race in front of me in my back :shock: There we have been lol 2 oldies (some in race wher 16 and 18 :P) going to move their crap asses as alive as possible through a 20 lapper that could have been such a good race for us hihi. But for sure it couldn't have been more funny lol! Though it was really a hard work to get the cars a bit fast and to keep them on track same time we started to run our own race ... allways searching for a good moment to overtake and it was not easy because there came allways flying rockets from behind! Funny as hell I can tell ya ... and a damn good feeling to cross finish! We did a great job mag ;)

Top 10 Standings after Friday:
1. Michael Stewart (30 points)
2. Petter Kaasa (20 points)
3. Mark Aalberts (17 points)
4. Dennis Hirrle (16 points)
5. Bergsell (10 points)
6. Motorhead (9 points)
7. Magnussen (4 points)
8. meoPhoenix (4 points)
9. Cudaguy (4 points)
10. Wayne Vickery (2 points)

Day 2:

For my kids to get some fun and for me not to get frustrated because of "stressed by kids crashed races" I brought them to their grandparents 8)

Back in time to do few laps on the server with testing some changes in setup we went straight to the qualy and the races. Sad was that only 5 racer left from the day before (hihi not everyone was so maniac to get up in the middle of the night to be there lol ;)). Because we where only 5 racer on track (later some others joined then) I decided the lapper will have to find the point to overtake me. So I only slowed a bit down ON TRACK (uiuiui)! BUT HEY WHAT WAS THAT ??? :shock: Because our newest forumreader was behind me I was intend to see if I would be able to keep my position in race ... BUT ... he hide himself in the crew which was lapping me and so he was able to pass me without any problems :evil: MEO STARTED RACING :twisted: I took what my car was able to give and ... yeah after few laps I was able to left mr. SuperFast behind me again 8)

Because this happened a few times I decided for myself that a fast racer will have to be a good racer also (I am mostly able to but I have to say M.H. was a great teacher in this on this racetrack), will say they must be able to pass me clear without I do those stupids that keep me in +lap-results. While all that happened dp decided to let the others get out of breath while race 1 and 2 for doing a great win in race 3!!!! WHAT A SHOW OF NO AIDS RACING !!!! HUUUUUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

Saturday Standings:
1. Petter Kaasa (26 points)
2. Dennis Hirrle (24 points)
3. Motorhead (17 points)
4. Mark Aalberts (13 points)
5. meoPhoenix (13 points)
6. Joel Roux (11 points)
7. Scott Taylor (6 points)
8. Ferry Koek (3 points)

After all I can only say, it was great to be a part of this fun event. From the "top position on track view" and the "comfortable pitview" it was funny as hell to watch this r-factor multiplayer demo "car-spin-track-dancing"!!!! hihihi we should really visit other leagues fun events more often :P it was cool :wink:

Overall Standings (Friday+Saturday):
1. Petter Kaasa (46 points)
2. Dennis Hirrle (40 points)
3. Michael Stewart (30 points)
4. Mark Aalberts (30 points)
5. Motorhead (26 points)
6. meoPhoenix (17 points)

9. Scott Taylor (6 points)
10. Cudaguy (4 points)
11. Magnussen (4 points)
12. Ferry Koek (3 points)
13. Wayne Vickery (2 points)

THANK YOU FOR ALL!!!

Well, as funny as this multiplayer demo week was, it is great to see that NA and EURO is more together on track again. And r-factor really makes me hope that we will soon be able to run our race in 1 startgrid and not split in NA div 1 and 2 and hell I saw allready that EURO would also have to split in F1 C. For me the best racer and the gratest races in a league are at NAR.

:shock: damn i got bad headache by a mismatchrain, when I joined a f1 server today to get use to f1 cars again because I must start with my practice for nuerburgring on sunday. Damn, I won't! It is hard now after we saw what we will get soon to do it once again like we allways did in the past .... (reminds me the linking park song I listened a lot to)

Crawling in my skin!
This mod will us not heal!
We all want much more!
Confusing what is REAL???

I want to say thank you to ISI and everyone who has been working on this nearly endless stuff -or still is-! For the fun we had in the past and for the fun we will have ... finally at the releaseday of r-factor we will ...

JOIN INTO THE FUTURE AND GET A NEW REALITY!!!

... have fun!

I got thi awnser from rfactor. i ask on F1 mod on it.

"Hi Pierre-Marc,
The Multiplayer aspect of rF is all new code and we've had a lot more than just 7-8 cars on the track at the same time over the internet. I think you'll be pleased with the MP component of rF

We don't do mods. The mod groups or individuals do that. We just try to provide as much info as possible for them and rF will be our most moddable game yet. People have already written us expressing an interest in doing open wheel mods so I'm sure someone will do some form of F1. We don't support any specific mods directly but rather make the game moddable so that the community can do with it what they like.

Thank you for you comments,
Regards,"

So we will have to wait on emac or else to have an F1mod... hehe probably comming soon!! hope so!

port settings for r-factor
http://forum.rscnet.org/showthread.php?t=185335 wrote:<protocol> <source port> <direction> <destination port>

rFactor
=======

UDP 34297 <-> 1024-4999 [ server sending clients the extended server info that matcher doesn't send ]
UDP 34397 <-> 34397 [ in-game play, user configurable ]
TCP 34447 <-> 34447 [ hotpacket handshaking?, user configurable? ]
TCP 34888 <-> 34888 [ file transfers ]
TCP 1024-4999 <-> 34889 [ voice chat ]

ISI Matcher
===========

SERVER

UDP 1024-4999 -> 34777 [ heartbeats ]

CLIENT

TCP 1024-4999 <-> 34666 [ server listing ]

FIREWALL TEST

TCP 34665 <-> 1024-4999 [ listens for clients that want firewalls tested ]

Clients playing through a router should not need to edit their router settings.

The firewall test function utilitizes ports next to the actual ports (because of binding issues).

So what I recommend is that you forward the range 34000-35000 UDP+TCP if you would like to run a server.

Also make sure that your router isn't forwarding packets to the wrong computer by accident e.g. you typed the wrong ip in, some other computer is the DMZ and you don't have explicit forwards set.
but go and view the forum http://forum.rscnet.org/showthread.php?t=185335 as usual there are different meanings about it lol!!!

... have fun!
