A NAR Winter NASCAR league?
I own an original CD but I also happen to have a lawyer-disapproved copy (you know, as backup as this is now pretty much abandonware (it's not that old but definitely abandoned by the publisher)). That copy is said (not confirmed) to work on private servers (i.e. not using the Sierra lobby) but I don't know if it would work if more than one player uses a lawyer-disapproved cd-key on the same server or even if it would work at all (multiplayer-wise) with a widely propagated unofficial cd-key...

I think
Hello guys
I think I found it here http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... s&n=468642
Let me know if this is the right one.

For some reason I highly doubt that they have a key code block on this game. In fact I don't know of any recent game that has it. Besides If you don't register it how would they know.

Well, they definitely check the cd-key and exe when you play on Sierra. My question was if they were validating when joining a private server. I know some games used to "call home" even if you were playing on a LAN...
If they are not checked and duplicate keys are "permitted" (relatively) then those who can't buy it/find it could use someone's widely distributed backup with the widely distributed key (if you see what I mean).

Yes
Hello
I see what you mean.
I never played on a Serria server so don't have a clue of what they do. It has always been a private server for me. And I have no clue about this game never played. It seems that it is or was very popular at one time when I did a search a lot of sites game up. So the info for this
could be found I will ask around not that we would do this (My Lawyer) say's this is a bad thing
but just to know because it is a intrustean
Well I ordered mine yesterday should have it by the end of the week.
It was only 13 dollars with shipping I know we are again spending money but at least it is not breaking the bank and we are not in prison.

I wouldn't NEVER (
) do anything illegal too as I have bought the original and even the NR2 + 4 + 2002 + 2003 editions, although I could never play them as much as I would have liked. It's just that this game is not necessarily the easiest to find nowadays and buying it used is likely to get you a banned cd-key, which may or may not be a problem depending on whether you plan to use the Sierra lobby or not...

well you'll have to count me out for a bit.I have nascar2003 but my cd is so scratched to shit that i have to use the exe crack to play.I'll have to go look for a new one again this weekend in kamloops.Hopefully i can be online again by sunday.
