Yeah, Qc Mike had that problem, and with many install and uninstall, it finaly work out. But i think we are using something more than the fix, the engine is no more blowing, maybe its that update you need?

Can you tell what mod and version and update you install?

1- You need to install F1Champions mod 1.06 (complete mod)
2- Then install the F1Champion 1.06a (Patch)
3- Then you must install this (engine less blow) : http://forumserver.zapto.org/NAR/viewto ... 5406#25406

Sorry, i think i just realized that i have to update the website about the update of engine after 1.06a patch.

Ack! The server's password protected.

And my Relay isn't showing any servers/users when I connect. The stars are aligning to ruin my weekend! ;)

I don't think this really needs to be private so here's a temporary download link: http://nar.kicks-ass.org:8086/narfiles/ ... nelife.zip .

Just unzip in the folder which CONTAINS the main rFactor folder, NOT IN THE RFACTOR folder itself! If I remember correctly, this should be something like "C:\Program Files\" or something similar in your case... Make sure you "preserve the directory structure" when unzipping.

Great! I'll give it a shot. Last night I had the thought that the reason people's files were still MM'ing on mine may be related to the fact that they were sent unzipped (the modification date or something causing it to MM), so I'm glad to get a zipped copy of it.

I'll give it a shot and let you know.

BTW - On the front page it says 6 hours until the race, but it also says it's 8PM eastern - that'd be 5PM Pacific. Help! ;)

The front page is supose to use your computer time to set the time of race. Race is at 8PM eastern time. Actualy, now, its 5PM. Let me know if something is realy not working.

Ahh, makes sense. Thanks.

BTW - I know I still haven't been given the green to get in on this race. Thursday night was cursed and the admins went to bed before I got everything (car and track) working, and obviously Friday Relay had its problems.

If I have to wait for Monaco for a chance I will, but if anyone wants to take a chance and let me in I'd appreciate it - Drago watched me run a bunch of laps, and a few others have seen me do a few laps here or there - anyone willing to vouch for me? ;)

BTW, Flow, I owe you a thanks for taking the time to do that - I wouldn't have gotten in the race without it.

I plan to make some of the races. I would like the #1 Williams seat.

By the way, can anyone share their gear ratios for the next race? I have lost my setups from last year and I've had to start from scratch.

Thanks,
Akan

Hello
Not to be rude or anything.
But I asked a while back on when we would be able to stat looking in to driving seats for 08 And I have not heard or seen anything yet.
And we are getting close to the start of the Season.

The only real reason why I am posting and interrupting this Brad Is because if
Spanky do's not come back and have time for making most of the races.

I have invited Steve to join me as a team mate for the 08 season.
I am not trying to knock anyone down but I really would like a team mate that will be there and practice with and all that.

And unless the Admins change things for this season I beleave that the Regulars from 07 get first choice before new bees.

Again not to be rude but Steve has first choice (I think)

Oh and by the way
If Steve decides he wants to stay at RedBull
I would be very happy to have you (Brad) as a team mate.

Would love to here from the 08 Admin on this before the it gets crowded.

np hitman, I wasnt around when that happend. its no biggie, main reason I wanted to switch was that I will be attending the BMW step program (to become a bmw technician) no worries, ill stay with toyota. (btw, I just realized what the implications were of moving teams, didnt even think about the championship, and I am more than happy with paul as a teamy, hope it didnt come accross like I didnt want to be with paul)

Hi Guys,

Admins are discussing this subject and we should have an answer for you soon......BUT......I am sure it will stand as last season.

Any ACTIVE drivers from last season who are still racing this season should have first choice.

This isn't final.....so stay tuned. :)

cool, but again, Ill stay with toyota, i only mentioned it because I thought spanky was in the seat at bmw, and took it as kinda a second choice. steve requested it first, he should get it. so as far as im concerned, im in the red and white car. besides, you guys are used to seeing me in the toyota, and toyota was happy getting those p1s 8) jk

Team BMW

Hello
Well I have offered the open BMW seat to Steve.
But he decided to stay at Red bull.

So the 2nd seat at BMW is open just to let everyone know.
