What kind of time frame are we looking at before this becomes the official version that we race with? I would really appreciate it if we could get a week advance notice from the admins.
It has tons of files compared to 1.05 making it more time consuming to try and optimize. And framerate dropped from 140ish to 40ish so it needs to be done. But I wan't to do it after it is finalized but before the race weekend if possible.

Up to now, we need the 1.06 version be clean of bug. Also we need to know what difference this new version will be compare to actual mod. Cause if we change mod and we have to start all over again setup adjustment, we cant change mod with 1 week advance. We will need more time to let all driver adapt to the mod. If the mod is not drivable by alot of drivers, then we will have to discuss about it before. This is my personal opinion, and may not reflect the admin decision.

So how is going your test?

Cool, sounds like there will be pleanty of time then.

I haven't done any testing with setups yet. But looking at the hdv it seems there are mostly minor changes so I can't imagine any big problems.

I was happy to see that the differential is equipped with separate power / coast settings and that the brake duct affects aero more.

Right now I am trying to figure out how vehicle classes work in rFactor. And what is related to what and how (reserved names of suspension parts etc). In preparation for my modding.

the difference from 1.05 to 1.06 the engine is a v8

handling hasnt changed that much and just a small ajustment to setup will soon have you doing good times

the cars are being finshed as we speak and the skins not loading has been fixed for all detail level.

there are no main bugs left that will effect the mod its mainly
just tarting up car models so they all look nice

also the 5% new hdv is not working on the ftp so will upload it here
i also have a setup you can use as a base set to get goin , but tbh its realy isnt much difference in driving than 1.05

Limpy, to promote your mod, dont you want to do a website were you can get more interest in your mod for public? or your fine with only few server of your mod. IT is a great mod, but its missing some publicity or interest.

I didnt test it, but i cant wait to try it. Will low end computer still be able to use it wonderfully just like F1c 1.05?

yea i trying to get a website sorted

and hopefuly fps wil be even better with the models improved
so it should be ok , has higher frame rate than ctdp mod but they have gone all out with there textures and thats not helping

i think it should be fine tbh but hard to tell on my pc , i have checked with lower detail and it looks good runs smooth too

you can install 1.06 and it wont affect 1.05.... but backup the original f1 champions rfm if ya need to swap back to 1.05

these car models are useing less polys than my f1c cars and ctdp so realy hope that will help lower end pc's

the muppet clan i am in for counterstrike are gona be sorting out some webspace for me to put my mod and advertise it there so hope that will help

also if i get the rest of the files from affbarro , the car modler
he fixing some bits and making 2 new cockpits we hope to have mod released this week if all goes well

not sure what nar want to do atm , i personaly would advise swapping to the new cars as physics far more accurate and all the help isi have been giving me is paying off so far
they too want me to get the mod out soon lol think they want that bmw sauber to get drove more

but i would say all need to drive it for a week to get the hang of the v8 engine before moving onto 1.06 , id rather everyone try it and see how most get on , as i said before its not much difference in handling
just engine and gears will be different from a v10

me and dennis been driving allot on our own and we getting bored , so please come online and help us get the last few test done before release

i just want to make sure that we all happy , and all nar can cope ok
steveB has just tried mod tonight . im sure he will make a post to let ya know what he thinks :)

ive also collected 14 f1 tracks and they all work .
with the 4 isi f1 tracks i think we now got them all
these f1 tracks are all public version to help others just get in and play so they dont have to spend all night looking for tracks

will have some more info very soon
till them can we have all nar try it and post any coments in thread
please . thx guys

Can i post a thousan of     ... lol
Congratulation limpy, you rock again.

Bad
- Picture of mod in rf lobby, is too big (wrong resolution) i can fix that for you.
- Mirror (not mirror in cam car) but the mirror that apear up screen when using t-cam and wing cam (i did test on 3) when a car is behind, now hes in your ass and you loose it in mirror when hes too close, you barely can see the back wing of car folowing. That was not a F105 problem. Is it ajdjusment of game or from 106 mod?

Good
- FPS, i have exact some fps on F05 than F06. Flow's low end computer aproved  I think that the track is more affecting the fps than the car. I drove with 10 AI, and all is normal in fps for me. I test on SteveB Hungary track.
- Duno if its the mod or game, but now i can adjust tire pressure of any tire on a pit stop, just like you can change wing degree.
- one more setup adjustment in transmission. nice, il have to learn how it works now, hehe.

Comment
- Whahaha, no second chance if you stall it, your dead, it dont start back alone anymore, hihihi
- I was used to change gear only by the sounds, now il have to learn it again. At 1st, sound didnt impress me, but after few lap, it kind of sounds maybe more like real F1, not bad at all.

If you need help for a website or just a front page to anounce your new mod with download section and a personal web adress, i can help you with that, it will be a pleasure.

Nice work.
