indeed steve, i started the testing on my dedicated server and i noticed that even when people have a high ping, i still see them running smooth.
so no worries kaali. try to get ure hands on the fismod 1.0 limpindog made. whith the f1 skins and the physics changes it really is awsome driving.

Well...the lesson learned here i guess is.Don't bitch about it when you don't pay attention.Simply put.I hadn't read the posts obviously and didn;t know you were using a sat connection. My appologies for that.I guess I take it in stride that we all have good broadband. My frustration with f1c is pretty evident nowadays after playing rfactor for months now.Limpy has done excellent work at making a modified f1 mod to mimic the f1c physics.Good job m8.My apologies to Kaali as it is obviously his connection that is dragging him down.I know his speed is good...F1c is the problem...Yes flow it sux not racing with you guys...that is depressing to say the least...It will be nice to get rid of all the frustration and race together again with a better netcode.I have a feeling the races will be fun and wheel to wheel like old times.Yes Kaali greenland is not too far away but with a sat connection. You might as well be far away with f1c netcode...

Muahahah! I just learnt from a danish computer news site that our isp (Tele Greenland) and Siemens Communications will make a broadband net in Greenland that will provide a fast internet (ADSL and ADSL2+) for all 57,000 inhabitants from new year. ADSL2+ is up to 24 megabits pr. second.

But I'm afraid that even with that speed there will still be big lag overseas. :(

Is it ADSL inside Greenland only or will you finally have "physical" (fiber vs sat) peering with the rest of the world?
