I still not managed to change it for some reasons,.. mayby its because its the demo or so,.. but it just wont allow me to switch. Anyway after 20 laps im already used to the English style of driving

That key what youre talking about does that mean that we can use the unlocked version??

I just tried LFS for the first time and I've got to say that I'm impressed.

It's the first game I have since NR2003 that supports my clutch pedal and shifter without any kind of hack! 8)

Do you guys run the demo or did you unlock it already?

I downloaded the full version. You can download the full version and get the key later on when you pay for it. I have a problem with my clutch pedal though. It registers when the clutch moves on the bar, and I have the clutch selected to that axis, but it doesn't work in the game. I can't seem to get it to work, but I'll keep trying, it must just be a setting.

Cart, I had to invert the clutch axis (just click the invert button next to the axis in controller setup). Otherwise, the car was very hard to move (clutch was always on)...

BTW, I'm using the full version too (still locked). I was just wondering if I should unlock it now or wait some other time. I didn't see any NAR server so I was unsure...

Oh yeah Bilbo I have the axis inverted, but it just doesn't register the clutch. On the horozontal blue and yellow bars in the bottom right, when I press the clutch, axis number 8 moves, which means that my clutch is axis 8. So I press clutch, and then axis 8, but the colored bar doesn't move. I have the green gas and red brake working, but the clutch just doesn't move. I don't know, but its really annoying. I might just reinstall the game, maybe that will fix it.

Oh yeah and I've tried assigning the gas and brake as the clutch, and still no good. Is there a setting I have to change? Because if there is then re-installing it wont fix anything.

Thanks,

Well, on the calibration screen, when I press the clutch pedal, only the clutch axis (yellow/blue horizontal bar) moves. There is no vertical colored bar for the clutch in this screen but there is one in-game (once you're in the car) which is blue and it does move with the pedal.

Also, make sure you have selected the "Axis" clutch type at the top of the controller configuration screen (just in case).

ok ok cancel that last statement.
I've been racing in a few races and yes this game is addicting.
I even got into races last night where.....I didn't get pushed off the track...had a good race with a guy and neither of us could get the advantage...surprising what happens when you run with good drivers and you get to ocassionally wuu huuu but not take your eyes off the road.I like the handling of the cars as the physics are bang on for cars like the gti.Make a mistake and you can bring teh car back but at the expense of losing a little speed...not a biggie as you can still catch up and try again.
hmmm as fr the graphics...they rock..i keep looking at all the crafted textures as i drive.that may be my mistake of course but having the buttons for looking right left and behind helps immensely.I have had no probs with the steering wheel but I would like to have a clutch.I may have to buy a another wheel just for this game...hehehe....i think it would be worth it..
