i have been having a real problem wit h f1c and my computer latley
i have had to do a complete reinstall 4 times , it seems to be working now but i cant be sure are we racing on the old track or the one with the new last corners ..... merc??????

Merc, the filename to download the new track is mc2003_v101.zip .

For anyone who cares, my new PB at this track is now 1:19.579. Steve, not only do we think alike but we drive alike too!

Hey guys I've been having some major problems getting this new France track to work. I've re-installed a few times, and I still can't get it to work right. I did everything in steps, like installing the game and testing it, and then installing the Rh2003 and updates and testing it, then Bilbo's mod and testing it, and then the track packs. I've read every readme on the trackpacks to make sure I have everything it needs. Everything works great up until the track pack 3B and the new France circuit. I know I have the right one, yet now it is still the old track, and whenever I try to load that it crashes to desktop. I was wondering if anyone else has this same problem? I don't think I'm doing anything wrong, but the France update just doesn't work, and now when I load it with the old icon it crashes. Please help me!! Man, I can't catch a break with this computer stuff.

hey Cart,
remeber that the update on killas server directs the update to c:\ea sports\f1 challenge 99-02.................it should read c:\PROGRAM FILES\EA sports\f1 challenge....so you will find an extra ea sports folder in your c drive with no game...just the updates....make sure you "browse"when you do the update install for france 2004...i didn't catch that right away...and it cost me alot of grief...just ask Dutch Power..the makers of the update are on some kind of frikkin glue trip and should be shot and pissed on for this...this is probably why it doesn't work...

As Carrera said, you have to manually point the France track installer to your main F1C folder. It's pretty poor of the makers to not read the installation path from the registry.

To verify if the track is installed correctly, you can try to run it in the RH2003 season (not the NAR2004). If it works in RH2003, then installing TP3B should make it work in the NAR2004 season too.

Yo people,
I am going to put upa practise room tonite at 8 pm pacific time if anyone wants to see if their track is the right one.Steve and I had to do a hot fix and delete his france nar 2004 folder in order to do it.It worked...after finally getting it to work we pulled times under 1:20...Steve in the mid 19's...I was lucky enough to stay on that evil long right hander long enough to pull a 1:16.163 with 25 litres of fule...Did I mention I hate this track and that right hander...well..I DO...LOL...a whole 100% race without me crashin...hmmmm gotta seee this...hehehehe....
