Hi everybody,
Well people,as I have built and ripped apart 4 computers this weekend already.I thought I would give you advanced warning on motherboards.
If you get a mobo from online and it don't work...you will have to send it back and wait for a new one..I have already been thru this crap and thought I'd warn you in advance.If you at least get a motherboard from a store near you.you have the option of bringing it back right away...this is an asset if you need to get your machine up and running quickly.I fried my g3ti 500 and had to wait 3 weeks before i could get it replaced.....
Now ...my point....the MSI k7n2 delta....I have 3 freinds who each bought a k7n2 from here in town...right out of the box...each freind (yes all 3)had to bring the mobo's back and get new ones...after my conversations(yes .i wanted to rip the store owners head off.)with the nice store owner...I have decided to warn people against these motherboards(even though they are nice ones )...because if it doesn't boot...you'll have to send it back if you got it online....
the moral of the story is:: be careful what you get online:::you could be stuck without a motherboard till you send it back and get it replaced....
if you do however...get it from a store in your area...you'll at least have the chance to go back and throw it in the store owners face....
oh and one more thing...when driving in your f1 car online...try to keep the rubber side down...and for a precaution to a wing loss...carry a can of red bull in your car...why??...cuz red bull gives you wings..LOL....

ah, the joys of online motherboard buying, LOL, still waiting for my replacement, actually, i had to order another one, they just creditied my card, they didn't exchange !!! but the good thing is, i'm getting the newer asus model a7n8x-e Deluxe, hopefully this one will friggin work !!!!
also, if you have an office max near you, get ya ass in there, they're having a sale on western digital 80 gig hard drives, 7200 rpm, 8mb cache, and after all rebates, they're only $19.95 american !!!,. the challenge is finding a store that actually has them in stock, supposed to have more wednesday, i'll let ya know !!!

yo steve,,,that is a hell of a deal man....
we are still paying 100 bucks for those drives..I think we are gonna have to change your name to bloodhound steve(sniffin out the good deals)..sounds like they are getting grabbed before you can get the damn things....that deal doesn't go unnoticed obviously...
p.s ran in mercs room last night and had a blast...looked for carts server but it wasn't there...hope it is still working right....

Hey Carrera,

You probably didn't see the server because I named it "Australia Testing," so others wouldn't be scared off

. Motorhead and Steve were there, along with two other people not in NAR. It went pretty well, no lag and everybody said it ran smoothly, but then again there was only 5 people there. From now on I'll name the room "NAR Testing," so its easier to find. There will be no password, and anyone is welcome to join.

You have a good connection for a server CARTrulz and a nice host, combining those 2 and it's the total package of a cool host

Ok Carrera, i installed the motherboard, connected all drives, connected power leads, usb leads, firewire leads, made sure all was secure. crossed my fingers, then plugged the power cable to the PSU, prayed to the big man upstairs, then with much hesitation, i hit the powerswitch, and guess what happened?

IT POWERED UP !!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

are ya proud of me? LOL. now to install windows, and all system drivers, hope to have it all workin soon, will keep you posted, lol

Everything is fine except my front usb ports, lol, i'm thinking i have the wires crossed, they " work" but everything i plug into them is an "unknown" device, the rear usb ports work like a charm though
i installed f12002, and did a lil frame rate check, right now i have my old gf4ti4200 in it, and am getting 100 fps with most in game display options set to either high, or full, so thats WAY better than this hunka sheeeeot !!! lol lets see how she works with my fx5600 ultra in it, i'll probably do that this weekend

Hey Steve,
sounds like the new mobo is giving you a good time not a hard time.
You should check your book that came with the mobo and see if there is something you have to change in cmos to get the usb ports working..
You may simply not have the usb 2.0 drivers in and are relying on the usb 1.1 ports ...or you may just have the wires on wrong....LOL...like i've never been there before...I got into carts server last night and it was fast and smooth..i had to leave to fix a five minute problem with the landlords computer...but as per usual...the five minutes took like 2 hours..reformatted ..did it all from scratch again...now if I could just get him to stop crusin the porn networks so much we wouldn't have these problems....watch your email people...if you get an email from a mailer daemon...with a mcafee.txt attachment...don't open it...it is the new worm virus that is infecting 1 out of 12 emails...clever bastards eh...
hey killa nice work on the website...thought i was gonna have an epileptic seizure watching the intro ..LOL...but it turned out ok...good work ...good music..good intro...more nice work by the head of nar ..keep it up mate...

Hey Carrera no problem, Motorhead stayed around, and Merc joined, so we went to Road America. I will have the server up again tonight, and every night for the rest of the week. Sunday will be the big test, I'll have a password on the room, and I hope to get around 10-12 people; that should really test my connection.

Hey Martin the intro looks really good; its a nice improvement to the website. I saw your post before about getting NAR Season 2004 underway, so I hope the test on Sunday will decide if I can handle division 2, or if we need to split it.

well you can get your wires crossed on a pc and still live to tell the tale...now if you get your wires crossed on a nuclear fission bomb...you are in trouble..LOL...p.s congrats motorhead on 2 wins last night...I was showing the public how to do several doughnuts in under a second...
Still a blast dr4ivin with experienced drivers ..not racer wannabe's..like i have seen online lately...bring it on people...I am Sssssssssssmokin...

In other news....
In honor of the "back to the future"trilogy...McDonalds has decided to make a burger after the lead character Marty Mcfly...thats right people...in china they tested the mcfly burger and over 3 percent actually liked it....
Unfortunately this has had to stop recently as an outbreak of mad fly disease has been found in the nether regions of Ronald MacDonald himself.Ronald was not available as he is hiding out with fellow mad fly disease infected Micheal Jackson...When asked what part in a movie he'd like to play next he replied"i'd like to do a little boy"...unfortunately he didn't hear the question right and thought i had asked"what do you want to do with your life"...
