Schumacher is happy to have Alonso to Ferrari, here what is post on his personal Website :
Michael: Welcome, Fernando!
I liked the idea from the beginning
Fernando with Ferrari, that's something I like a lot. I was involved from the very beginning in this decision, and I always liked the idea. I am sure Fernando will feel well with us, and I can only say: Welcome, Fernando!

Oh my God, just imagine the loser team from hell: Schumy as "consultant", evil mastermind and possibly 3rd driver for Ferrari, Alonso as the active driver and Jean Todt as the FIA head for protection. All that would be missing is Eddie Irvine coming back to act as the henchman to "sacrifice" himself for the team and all the planets would be aligned for a major impact on any sportmanship illusions left in Formula 1...
