First problem solved second is comming :((((

Post by Ferdi »

Hi guys,

Ok first a short story...

I have a 1800+ AMD, 512 Mb DDR RAM, Geforce 2 GTS.
A few moths ago I had installed Windows 98se and had a problem during playing F12002/F1C. After doing some laps my game crashed to desktop. I had post this problem before and Dan told me to format the hard disk and and install w98se again. I was thinking... w98se... wow that's old! So I installed XP proffesional.
Ok, game installed and everything worked ok!! :D But my framerate was awful! sometimes it dropped to 5 fps.... ok, installed a new videocard driver today and I have an avarage of 50fps!! YAHOOOOO!!! BUT!  now my game crash after 2laps all the time...

Now my question. Does someone know how I can solve this problem???

Greetz and thx!

I doubt I told you to install Win98 again. In fact, I don't think I've told anyone to install Win98 since Windows 2000 came out (late 1999).

Unfortunately I cannot hekp you with the crash problem. Never heard of anything quite that predictable before. Almost sounds like a driver problem, but the fact that you can drive more than a full lap sort of disputes that theory.
