USF1?
I'm suprised no one has commented on this. I think its great for the sport, however...i do think they'll crash and burn big time. Hope i'm wrong!

Re: USF1?
I think it is really good, mainly because I want more cars on the grid - there seems to be less and less each year.
Obviously I want Honda to be saved as well.
I don't expect the USF1 team to do very well either, although Peter Windsor has been involved in F1 long enough to know how much of a nightmare it will be.

Re: USF1?
While I'm happy about it, I'll get excited when I see them on the track. After following closely the rise and fall of BAR (which was pretty much the "local" team around here for a while with Villeneuve and Pollock on board), I wish all the luck to USF1...
Re: USF1?
Perhaps another Super Aguri on the cards. Problem with choosing a national line-up is that the seats might go to people who are not really talented and just are there for being American. But it would be fun if it works out!
Saw that Scott Speed is one of the alternatives for attaining a seat though. I think they will need someone with quite a lot more talent than that to succeed...

Re: USF1?
I agree Fred, if they think or I should say WANT to succeed in F1 they will need a much more talented driver than Speed.
I read on F1live.com that Barrichello is wanted by USF1 and HONDA (after buy out) they said they want the experiance he has.
I also read on the same web site that the purchase of HONDA by ROSS BRAWN is set to be announced soon.
It also said that BERNIE "MONEY BUCKS" ECCLESTONE wanted to help and buy 40% of the team with ROSS BRAWN and they flat out DECLINED it. ROFLMFAO
WAY TO GO ROSS!!!!!!!!!!
