wow flow, when we had like 7-0ish against denmark we started watching the canada-norway game (with norwegian commentators. almost the same language but they sound so jolly all the time. hilarious ).
anyway, grrrrrrr, canada finally won but man it was close!
as for our part in the tournament we'll crash and burn for sure, maby hendrik lundqvist can save us a little, but overall we'll just end up knocked out in the quarter finals against russia or tjeckia i bet. so no classic final this time (funny how it always ends up can-swe in the finals )
i'd say canada or finland for the gold, and if not them - russia!

Canada is our contry team, but finland have our Montreal Canadian NHL team captain playing with them, Saku Koivu. Yeah, french is probably weird to listen when you dont speak it . I didnt see the game your talking about, but i know that the one we win over USA wasnt realy our, we were lucky to score the killing goal few sec before ends, USA was more kind of eating us. Canada have good chance for Gold, but it is not in the pocket, im shure they will have to fight hard if they want to win it.

Re: Hockey Worlds in Canda
yeah the Canada game will be tough.....our Swedish team has a great goaltender but the defenders screw up a lot.
Hopefully we'll win though ......not that anyone will care.....I mean wth is the point in having the WC in North America when the NHL-playoffs still haven't finished.....

Congratulation to Russia, they won the Gold the Hockey World championship 5 to 4 in overtime over Canada. Too bad, we could of been winning on our land, but no chance. Canada was hoping 2 gold in row.
