We all know (or dont remember) that we use the Parc Fermé rule for next race in both divison.
BUT, is there anything that we need to know or to take in consideration, like :
Do we loose our fuel that was burned in qualif, or it sets back to original race setting?
Can we still change tire from Qualif session to race session or it is locked?
Does the tire wear is set back to NEW when race start?
Or any other information that we need to know or consider?
Is the public server open with the setting of parc fermé, so we can make some Q+R testing?
Thank you , and hopefully my question may help anyone, or make other ask any more question if something is not clear

Re: Questions about PARC FERMÉ new rule
Hi Flow,
I think the set ups switch back to origional after the qualy session is over with certain things locked (according to RFM).
The server (Bilbo's) is setup with the parc ferme rule so it can be tested.

Re: Questions about PARC FERMÉ new rule
So in other words, you must qualify with your race setup? If you go really low fuel with qualy, that's the same amount of fuel you will have at the start of the race?
I may be slow, but at least I'm consistantly slow !

You get your original fuel back for the race.Flow wrote:BUT, is there anything that we need to know or to take in consideration, like :

No, tyres are locked. Can we still change tire from Qualif session to race session or it is locked?
Yes, you get new tyres of the same type you had when you qualified.Does the tire wear is set back to NEW when race start?
My server (NAR NA Practice (Bilbo)) has parc ferme activated but it has the default MMG "free settings" (i.e. unlocked settings), which might be different from the final NAR ones. It does have the starting fuel and tyre compound locked though, which are the most important part of the parc ferme rule, so you can do all the testing you want. Just be advised that the final NAR free/unlocked settings will likely be more restrictive than the default MMG ones. The admins are finalizing their decision about which free settings to keep but a misunderstanding has prevented an earlier announcement, sorry about this. Fuel and tyres are definitely sure to be locked though.Or any other information that we need to know or consider?
